How many of us are left from ASPD?

ASPD is where I started as well, about 07, Rhoni popped my cherry!

I met Ms. Sonya through ASPD back in the day. Don't know if she remembers--I certainly do
Joined aspd in early 2000...same handle but started off with elite escorts as Kelly with so many of the same people on here u would think it would be almost the same :/

I had a different handle on ASPD, but my involvement actually goes back to the ancient days when there was a newsgroup (anyone remember those?) called alt.sex.prostitution where you could click endlessly through page after page and finally learn that somebody got head by a Whataburger in Corpus Christi. It was time-consuming but fascinating because it was a new technology being brought to bear on a very old problem. ASPD was a big step forward, though I remember when providers first got access to the board; it seemed counterproductive to me. I saw an Austin provider who was absolutely terrible, wrote a truthful review, which she read and then had herself removed from the site. I have no complaints about ECCIE. It has served me well many, many times. Originally Posted by DirtySecrets

OK, what's all this really about?

I go back to ASPD days, with a handle close to--but not identical--to my current one. A handful of providers I know go back then as well. They all remain well worth the time and money. Folks who know me from then say they still pay attention to what I post.

But for our current readership--so what? I pay attention to reviews by guys I recognize from those days. But more recent members will I hope do the same with their peers. That is, if reviewer 'X' recommends provider "LL" (which I do), and you see 'LL', and 'X's review squares with your expereince, then you pay attention to 'X's next review. If you think he's FoS, you ignore him. So it was then, and so it is now. And if I've seen 'LL,' and my experience mirrors a reviewer I don't know, his opinion registers with me.

So it's more of the same, except that--I and others believe--we have more drama now.

Just sayin'.

Was part of ASPD as well, joined a year before it crashed I was BigPapi94.
Was on there as Pipelayer for a couple years. Got on right about the time Dagwood, who was the coolest mod on there, killed himself. Stopped hitting it when I got into a relationship, then when I went back, it was gone. Made me sad. Just found ECCIE this week.
ck1942, I remember meeting you at my first social. Fun night, that was.
