looks like you're back on track
There is absolutely zero proof to your first paragraph. Pure speculation. 4 of the last 7 presidents elected have been Democrats (AKA Liberals). Clinton twice and Obama Twice. Bush twice and Trump once. No winning Democrat had less electoral votes than any winning Republican. So much for your "theory" that the Conservative candidates are more successful than the Liberal candidates. We haven't had a true conservative since President Reagan...I know you have TDS and that clouds your thinking like the rest of the left.
You, like Trump seemingly is doing, are stressing the socialistic side of Democrats as a huge negative. Didn't work in 1992, 1996, 2008 or 2012. Scare politics rarely work. Obama was POTUS for 8 years and there was little he put through that would be considered socialism. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

AS I SAID fdr polices wouldn't never win today...the complete lot of left wing loons running today don't have a fucking chance...tell me only one winning strategy in their platform that makes the masses of heartland voters want to vote for that.
They preach BIGGER Gumment, more spending, free heath care, student loan forgiveness, guaranteed jobs for all with living wage, open borders with sanctuary cities and the BIGGEST WINNER OF ALL "The new raw deal" that all on the left voted "present"...so much for standing on principles.
Yeah your ideology is a big WINNER.
You didn't address the label of Socialism as being "meaningless" as per your comment ...as I said TELL THAT TO THE PEOPLE OF VENEZUELA!!
No, liberalism is bankrupt ideology and is trying to bankrupt this country.
Why don't you SPEED into your left wing utopia somewhere else...with chimm chimm in the drivers sit. Originally Posted by bb1961

But the Republican Hate Machine goes against every American Principle of the last 100 years. Chop Medicare, Cut Social Security, Fuck Puerto Rico, Fuck our Allies, Fuck Healthcare, Raise the national debt, tax cuts for the rich, Crooked thieving President whos a racist, etc, etc, etc Originally Posted by themystic

There are some idiots asking for free healthcare and they are wrong. Affordable healthcare is what people are looking for. Trump has set this country back 20 years. But he will be gone soon. I don't think he will survive in office
As I've said before TM NEITHER party seems to care about the national debt...as the runway spending sees no letting up.
Tax cut were across the board...everytime there is a tax cut why is the question...how are we going to pay for it.
The FUCKING Gumment doesn't care how it's PEOPLE are going to do with less...just how is the Gumment going to do with less!!
The cost of "free" healthcare for all would be in the 10's of TRILLIONS...as AOC seem to have her eyes glaze over when asked by many liberal pundits...HOW THE FUCK WE GOING TO PAY FOR IT!!
I like your the President...etc, etc, etc...have you come up with any new adjectives for him??
You talk about "fuck our allies" this country is one of the BIGGEST if not the BIGGEST giving countries in the world when it comes to helping other nations in need for many many years. Originally Posted by bb1961

As to the market, as you probably know, the most common way of valuing it is with price earnings multiples. Right now, for example, the Dow Jones Industrial average is selling for 16.5X earnings. When corporate tax rates were cut from 35% to 20%, it meant an increase in after tax corporate earnings of 23%. All other things being equal, that means an increase in the stock market indices of 23%. If the corporate tax rate is still around 20% years from now, then, again all other things being equal, shares would be 23% higher than with a 35% tax rate. This means more wealth, and more money in pension funds, IRA's and 401K's to pay for retirement. Originally Posted by Tiny

What socialistic policies did he put in place in those 8 years? As I said, you are running around yelling "socialism is bad" without really understanding what socialism is and how moderate Democrats don't fit YOUR description of socialism.

The liberals get all the good pussy and don't have to pay $ 130,000 for it. All of your good providers are liberal. The only Trump supporter providers I know are fat hoes. Of course some like that so each to his own
This is a forum for discussing political viewpoints. If you have a problem with people discussing viewpoints that differ from your viewpoints, maybe it is you who should leave the forum.
And BTW, you have absolutely no idea what my political views are, but would rather classify me as someone searching for a "left wing utopia". Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

Obama had the advantage of coming out of a deep recession, but still the recovery in terms of GDP growth was anemic. I'd attribute part of the outperformance under Trump to the corporate tax cuts and deregulation, and don't believe the effects of those will be short lived, until the Democrats change things around. But does all this mean a lot? Probably not, because it's plain stupid trying to correlate who's president with the performance of the economy, given there are so many other variables besides who's president, like population growth, interest rates, business cycles, globalization, technology, and other parts of the government (the Fed, Congress, states, the lifelong bureaucrats, etc.).
