Had someone follow us acting mighty odd on our last walk around the block... shoutout to the guys who walked me home. Need to find a safer route to walk. Unmentionables have gotten so bad in Rochester, it's crazy. I was barely off of my street... The guy was freaking jacked, too. I was legitimately nervous...
Thank god those random two other guys were there, when the guy kept on coming closer after i asked him if I could help him with something and to please go away, I just picked up Bear and went over to them like, hey, this guy won't leave me alone? I don't think they really took me seriously at first, but then the guy like... kept glaring at Bear and coming closer, and the other guy made a comment about the state of mind he was in, and finally he like... shook his head, like he was waking up, and walked away. The two guys apologized and made sure I was alright and walked me home. Ugh.

The worst part is? I carry a knife, but NYS has NO self defense laws. I'd go to prison for a while. I could pick up my dog and run, but what if he were to lunge after me? I couldn't get the knife in my pocket, and I'm a runner but I'm not running that fast or far with a 25 pound dog in my arms. Usually the knife is a deterrent - I've never had someone mess with me before - I wear it openly on the outside of my patch vest, with the mohawk people pretty much give me a wide berth

I'm honestly shaken though. I just keep telling myself it was a once time incident, and before long Bear will be big and that probably won't happen when he's a bit bigger..

I want him to stay little forever, but I can't wait for him to grow up. I miss having a big dog for this exact reason.

I miss sophie very much tonight, she would have kept us both safe big sad

Gorgeous dogs. I probably won't have problems once Bear hits 60 or 70 pounds, and I fully expect him to weigh at least 80-100. Vet says "not to be surprised if he hits 110 115, his mitts are friggen huge"
