IMO, he should be suspended for the rest of the season for his stomping incident against the Packers. Especially with his history of personal fouls. And did you hear his excuse about the incident that he was only trying to regain his balance on the play. Does he think he is a comedian? LOL. I don't think the commissioner will find anything funny about this incident.

The Cowboys have a very good shot at winning the division right now, even though they seem to be doing just enough to win. Earlier in the year they were dominating games and blowing them at the end. I'm not jumping on the Romo bandwagon just yet , he did throw a couple picks early, but he managed to play pretty well down the stretch and give the kicker a shot at winning another game.
When you look at the way this is playing out I'm beginning to get a little confidence about winning this and spending some good quality time with our soon to be new local on rj's dime. I'm thinking I'll take money I was going to spend anyway and combine it with my winnings for a nice long leisurely visit with her. Her timing seems to fall perfectly with this. Maybe it's destiny.
Maybe she has been reading this thread and it is good business.
Should the Cowboys win, I am visiting Latina Barbie for lunch and dinner. Oh yeah!

Well interesting to say the least. Both teams are 7-4. The Cowboys have the Giants Twice, The Eagles, The Bucs, and the Cardinals to play. This could very well spell out the 8-8 season. Pretty sure they will get by the Cardinals but the other games will be tough. Yes they can do it but, we are almost in December. You know the month where Tony Romo has a Gremlin the size of Cowboys stadium that shows up to embarrass him. Anything can happen in pro sports but this one ain't over til it's over. They could surprise us all, but making the playoffs and doing well in the playoffs are two totally different scenarios here.

The Lions on the other hand have to play New Orleans, Minnesota, Oakland, San Diego, and Green Bay. I think they will win at least 2 of these maybe 3. Their disadvantage is that they are in the same division as the best team in the NFL right now.

Glad I don't have money on either side right now but the Cowboys excitement needs to be kept under control. The last two wins have been by the hair of their chinny chin chin and against anything but playoff caliber teams. Come on a Rex Grossman led team in overtime and the 3rd worst team in the league by a point? True they are wins but I am already seeing posts saying "Cowboys Number 1!" This level of playing won't get them very far in the playoffs if they do get there.

OK go ahead and condemn me for telling it like it is but reality can sometimes be a bitch. If I am wrong I will admit it but it looks like the good luck is lasting up til the end of November. Do we see a pattern of consistency?
I agree Capitan, no reason to get too exited yet. The Cowboys can and should run the table. That being said , I'm not expecting it. I think they will beat the Giants at least once. Probably beat the Eagles after being embarrassed by them, and take the Cardinals more than likely. Hey that's 10 and 6 . Probably wins the division and the bet. I'll take it. I don't expect much success in the playoffs though.
I agree with you on the Lions as well. That puts them at 10 and 6 too. Maybe a wildcard, but not enough to save rj from financial ruin. LOL

The Cowboys should also beat Tampa Bay. That would put them at 11-5. But hey, I'll settle for a 10-6 record (as long as they win 1 of their games against the Giants) because I think that will be good enough to win the NFC East.

Yes, anything could still happen. The Cowboys could fall flat on their face in December. But, I don't think this will happen. You do have to like their odds now, after starting the season off at 2-3 while the Lions started off at 5-0. And while the Cowboys just barely won their last 2 games, they were due some good luck after losing 3 games in the final minute (2 of them after having a comfortable lead). Does it really matter if a team wins by 1 point or 40 points? It still goes down as a Win in the Won and Loss Column either way.

I don't see the Lions winning any more than 2 games the rest of the season. I think the Lions and RJ are SOL (Shit Outta Luck). LOL.

I just think that when this is over we should all have a get together and watch the losers pay and the winners celebrate before the actual deed takes place. Hell I can even host it at my house now that I'm the only person who lives there, lol.
Party at the Capitan's place . I'm in.

The Cowboys now have sole possession of 1st place in the NFC East and lead the Giants by 1 game. Thank you Saints. This could all be over in 2 weeks, if all things go just right. The Giants lose to the Packers next Sunday. The Cowboys win against the Cardinals next Sunday and then beat the Giants in Dallas on Dec. 11. The Cowboys would win the NFC East. And this bet would be over because there is no way the Lions can win their division, unless the Packers lose all of their last 5 games and the Lions win all of their last 5 games. A snowball in hell has better odds than that happening.
