[QUOTE=LexusLover;1054752622]The "logic" is apples and oranges ... by your comparison ....
Calling a male friend of yours .. a "slut" or a "whore" ... almost reaches the level of praise ... in that it is addressing their "pussy-getting-powers" ... by acknowledging the increased amount of pussy they get in comparison to other guys ... it's almost flattery of a sort among friends.... or acquaintances ... or guys!
True very True.
Historically in our society (and in "this community") a high "rate" of sexual activity by a female has not been considered "flattering" and/or a compliment ... and the use of slut denotes an indiscriminate sexual activity and historically so does "whore" for remuneration on a "lower rung" of the ladder or hierarchy.
Maybe in society Yes I agree, but in this community I disagree. I believe the majority here really appreciate these woman and making their services available and are respected because of that. The minority that don't feel that way I believe have a problem with their thinking.
"Dirty talk" during certain sexual encounters is not I the same league either. And just because a lady may "accept" or even be turned on by it during sex with a particular person doesn't give a green light to anyone walking down the sidewalk ....
Yes that is two completely different things.
.. which is the same as racial slurs, which may be acceptable between friends of like race when popping off to each other .... and may not find it offensive in that context.
Such is based on knowledge and understanding between those two persons engaged in the discourse (or intercourse as it may be).
The "logic" is an inherent respect for others' sensitivities with a "presumption" based on general social mores and standards that it is generally offensive, and until someone has a better knowledge and/or understanding of another, then it is the better practice to refrain from engaging in potentially offensive behavior or language.
It is founded upon respect for others first, and not putting one's self-interests first.
Yes Dear you are right.
