I don't see deaths per million population on your chart, only total deaths. Impact on population has to be deaths per million, not total deaths.

Here is the link:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/?utm_campaign=homeAdUOA?Si

You can click the column headings to sort.
Scroll down to the country list.
*Sort by deaths per 1m pop.

You can also click USA and get a breakdown by state.

We can only work with the information that out there. Of the other countries are under reporting then it makes our numbers look worse.
I searched for "covid-19 deaths per million by country" this is what came up.

Do it for yourself before you accuse me of searching for a site to support what I think. Fact check me before you pontificate.
I gain nothing from posting fudged info. If I find out I posted information that is incorrect or I'm wrong I acknowledge it and own it. I think Zollner knows that.

How would you interpret this reply after posting some information?

I think elg is saying this in general as opposed to identifying what you posted as an example.

The point I'm making is that using the number deaths per country to compare counties is not fair because populations vary greatly. percentage of dead to total population is a better comparison. It shouldn't be a controversial point.

My point is this: report tests per million, not total tests.
