AI Overview
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in August 2025 was approximately $3.13 per gallon according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, and the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) also reported a similar average, with different data sources showing prices around $3.13-$3.17. This represents a decrease from the previous year but was stable with slight fluctuations during the month, influenced by crude oil prices and regional factors

guess its where you find the numbers since there is a difference

That's exactly why I have consistently used GasBuddy for the specific daily locals and AAA for the area average, state and nationals.

You can get current, daily, weekly, monthly and annual all in one place

Bottom line, reduce PA gas taxes to bring cheaper gas prices to the public.

Locally we have had dozens of depression era bridges replaced.

PA is large, has too many roads to maintain, especially I 80.

Do or don't, you'll be blamed either way.
