They were still down 8.6% in Europe in September so the sales decline continues

They're also 75k short on the year vs the Dacia Sandero

Buckle up, Bam

You're celebrating an 8.5% drop in sales and a 40% drop in OP over Q3 like they won the Super Bowl. It's pretty funny

NEWS: Tesla is now offering 2,000 free Supercharger miles in the U.S. if you trade in your gas car and upgrade to a Tesla vehicle.

"Embrace the freedom of the world's largest fast-charging network, where you can finally hit the road for that epic trip you've always dreamed of."

Free or not, fast(er) or not, I don’t want to stop and charge up my car. If it’s ever as fast as or close to as fast as pumping gas, say 5 minutes, I’ll consider an electric car. I’d also have to take it to a mechanic who knows the systems to service, which is against my religion.

“Tesla is reportedly preparing to unveil a flying car prototype by the end of 2025, as hinted by CEO Elon Musk during a recent podcast. While details are limited, Musk described the upcoming demonstration as "unforgettable" and suggested it would feature advanced technology beyond traditional vehicles.“

Stupid article, which completely ignores the other side of the coin. For every noisy retard who now hates Musk, there’s a soft spoken normal person who loves him.

It's not zero sum, J. But love to attempt at a parity argument when we've seen losses galore

Florida Retirement System State Board of Administration explains in an SEC filing why it will vote its Tesla shares in favor of Elon Musk's proposed new compensation package:

"...this exact model of incentive compensation has already proven itself twice over... The 2012 package, contingent on a tenfold increase in market capitalization, was achieved years ahead of schedule. The 2018 award... required Tesla to grow from roughly $50 billion to $650 billion in market cap; growth that was accomplished within only four years, creating hundreds of billions of dollars in shareholder wealth. In both cases, the dilution effect was minimal compared to the immense value creation for investors.

The same dynamic underpins the 2025 award. The milestones are extraordinarily demanding as they require Tesla to become an $8.5 trillion enterprise and to achieve operational breakthroughs in autonomy, robotics, and energy storage. For shareowners, this represents an upside bet: as Tesla achieves each of the targets in the plan, investors enjoy a significant gain in value. This is not moral hazard, it's alignment. Those who claim the plan is "too large" ignore the scale of ambition that has historically defined Tesla's trajectory. A company that went from near-bankruptcy to global leadership in EVs and clean energy under similar frameworks has earned the right to use incentive models that reward moonshot performance."

If anyone wants to vote against Elon, you can always go ahead and short Tesla stock. But you do so at your own risk. Since this thread was started, TSLA's share price has more than doubled - to $457 from $212!

Not about the stock price, Lusty. Or Elmo's comp package. It's about the ongoing sales issues. Next test will be how things went this month now now that the incentives have ended

Duck, deny and deflect, Gristle. Of course it's about the stock price!

Sales drive earnings, which drive TSLA's share price.

Your thread isn't aging well, is it? When will you give it up?

We all know you hate Elon, so what's the point anymore?

If you still need to vent, just go out and key a few Teslas in your 'hood, k?
