Injuries hurt the Bills more.
McDermott did the best he could with what was left after players got injured during the season.
Don't now why Bean got promoted since he picked most of those players McDermott had to work with.

Beane should've been the first out the door as a result of many of his moves going south. I.e., Keon Coleman, Kaiir Elam, Zack Moss. And, though Allen's receivers did a decent job, Beane never produced a marque wide-out.

I feel for McDermott. But, as the old adage goes: "You can't fire the whole team, so you fire the coach".

It will be interesting to see who the new coach is. Tough shoes to fill.
My guess is the Bills will now be rebuilding for 5-6 seasons with Beane eventually being fired and at least two new head coaches.
Feel sorry for the fans that paid so much for season tickets in the new stadium!

Firing McDermott I thought was a mistake. But, then to give Beane a promotion after the firing?? That is just fucked up.

Problem with firing McDermott is…who the fuck are you gonna replace him with? I don’t see anyone out there better than McDermott. Harbaugh & Stefansky are now off the market, who were the top two candidates.
