TG (not to be confused with any other new or old TGs) is free to spend his time and money how he chooses. The ECCIE "in-crowd" who keep telling TG that he is doing it wrong continue to labor under the mistaken belief that the opinions matter.
ECCIE - as I have been amply educated about for months now - is not, as a whole, a community worthy of respect or admiration, nor gentlemanly conduct. ECCIE is a septic tank in which some gems have been accidentally flushed into. The "in-crowd" wants me to treat ECCIE like a jewelry showroom because it has gems. The correct response is to dig through the fetid shit to find the gems, dig them out, clean them off, then admire them in person, far away from the septic tank.
There are some truly classy gentlemen here, whom I would break open a good bottle for any day. And of course, I am continuously filtering through the septic tank for jewels.
Being outcast or ostracized by that same "in-crowd" is irrelevant to me. This is like an Internet remake of High School Musical, except all the actors are c-grade rejects from the extras list in the actual movie, who have collectively convinced themselves that they're actually the talent. Fuck your ostracization. I didn't fly Foxy to Houston because she's my dream woman, I did it because she met some minimal combination of friendliness, attractiveness, intelligence, and communicative capability that together elevated her above what I had thus far been exposed to in Houston?
Ostracize me? Hardly. In Soviet Russia, TG ostracize YOU - AND all the fucktards who want to tell me I'm spending my money wrong, or seeing the wrong girls, or doing the wrong activities, or posting wrong. The septic tank gurgles up a trapped air bubble that explodes into a foul airburst of gaseous vitriol, and demands that I respect the flatulence. Unless you're gurgling up a gem for me, simmer down.
Speaking of gems, I abandon my sewer fishing for now, because I may have caught the prize, and must now go prepare to meet her.
