The best places to travel with a lady.

If there's one place I like to go with lovers it's Big Sur's Post Ranch Inn. Granted, you two have to be happy to spend a lot of time rolling around in bed together. Breath taking, secluded, unique, full of understated luxury.
Hotel Hana Maui is very romantic. http://hotelhanamaui.com/ There's a red sand beach down a trail over a cliff that is very private. If you can climb down to it, you can go clothing optional because you and your special someone will be the only ones there. It's in a cove surrounded by cliffs on all sides and besides a real live hermit living under a ledge, we never saw another person down there our whole trip. The rooms are not rooms but cottages. It is lovely.

Have to put that on my list Colette, Maui is one of my favorite places. Had a wonderful time at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua there.

You would have to have a big budget but I would stay at a nice hotel in the NYC Times Square area. It's right in the theater district. There are some great restaurants and shops. Screw, eat, see a play, screw sleep, screw eat... and so on and so on.
I love that hotel, though I still persuade my suitors to stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel just so we can have drinks in the Polo Lounge. I have also found Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, CA to be very nice, it's a short 2hr drive from LAX but well worth the drive once you've arrived - http://www.bacararesort.com/. It sits on 85 acres and even has a ranch for all your horse lovers and riders. Originally Posted by Exotic Lily

If you have the resources and time to invest, go to China. There's this enchanted place about 2hrs outside china called Hangzhou ([ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangzhou"]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangzhou[/ame]). Shanghai is like Manhattan, but Hangzhou had alot more traditional history and sights. We stayed at a hotel called Shangri-La (http://www.shangri-la.com/en/propert...zhou/shangrila). Everything in Hangzhou is pretty darn goofy, they have silly names for everything there.

Pick any of the Villa's on top the hill over looking the Sea of Cortes in Cabo. Most are private owned and available for weekly rentals with full staff for your enjoyment. Expensive but well worth the memories, especially with the right company beside you.
