Um...call me crazy, but...

I've seen ECCIE mention on the news on more than one occasion. Not my local news, but news news. So someone's add mentioning an ECCIE discount is really not outing anything.

I very seriously doubt that ECCIE is off or under or around or in any way not already on the radar for anyone with a modest intellect and an interest in the hobby. Be that providers, hobbyists or LE. It's a wonderful site, but not that hard to find or even to join.

On the other hand I believe that "they, the Radar owners" are not really that interested. ECCIE and 80,000 other sites are known and perhaps even monitored now and then but we are basically a bunch of normal people doing inoffensive stuff. Really! Unless we start frothing about making bombs, revolution, drugs (the bad stuff, not male enhancement type which is the good stuff) or underage providers, I presume we fall very close to the extreme edge of the radar. Not off it, but close. About on a par with the Sierra club or Future Cheese Farmers of Chile.

This may be wishful thing on my part of course but if I thought the other way around, I wouldn't be here.

MARIAH'S AD: I never saw Mariah's BP ad since I rarely look at them but her post on ECCIE a few days ago caught my attention because of the discount part. It was such a refreshing, candid and forthright approach to marketing that I loved it! A little research showed she had posted half price to ECCIE members about 10 days ago but revised it yesterday to $50 off, still a great deal. A perfect example of marketing paying off because the ad had probably generated sufficient calls and she could ease her rates back up again (I..uh.... was one of them callers).

Also, the lovely Mariah may be newly indy but she is smart enough to get known and talked about ..... like this thread for example where her name and great reviews are mentioned several times.

I did want to take time to say sorry i didnt mean to draw attention to eccie i was just trying to give a discount i wolnt do it again i posted on the provider ads here on the site and placed the discount on here ! I am in no way affiliated with baton rouge LE i was just trying to give members a lower rate then non members i didnt mean to upset you guys so once again sorry and i hope to see you give me a call
