should bump stock be regulated or banned?

Bam. I've heard that said several times now, that they were designed for handicapped people.. HOW and why? What was their purpose when it comes to the handicapped? Originally Posted by garhkal

BTW, congrats to Dilbert Firestorm for making a poll without whining or asking someone else to figure it out for him!

You can own operate and fire a tank if you want. Not against the law.

I stated that criminals fuck it up for the law abiding.

I believe the intent was not just to defend against an oppressive government but so that we could have a citizen defense force until a standing army could be mustered. If I am defending my nation, my family, and my home; I want as much fire power as I can personally handle. I do not want what the government thinks is appropriate.

You would think that since we are a government of the people by the people and for the people and that since we are all equal, why shouldn't I have the same access to arms as the rest of the people. I suppose you feel that it is ok to discriminate between citizens by stating that only some citizens should be allowed access to certain things. Maybe we would not have so many black people getting shot by the popo, or by each other.

There are a lot of arms that just are not cost effective to personally own, operate, and maintain. I doubt seriously that I could afford a nuke. I mean I am not N. Korea or something.

In the days of the founders a rich man could own a cannon or a warship. A man with money could put together his own company of soldiers. Many did during the Civil War.
The reason mainly for the 3 round burst is to keep folks from emptying their 20 round mags as quick. Last update from my vendor says my order is on hold because they can't get the bump fire stocks from slid fire. Originally Posted by gnadfly

These able-bodied gun owners seeking speed — and the feel of an automatic weapon — are apparently the device’s primary market. North Carolina gun store manager Dorothy Royal told the AP in 2013 that while she does sell bump stocks to wounded veterans, an estimated 70% of her buyers have no visible disability.

The sig brace is a work around for short-barrel-rifle NFA regulations so that people in ban states, or people who don't want to wait up to 18 months and pay $200, can have AR and AK pattern "pistols" with a stock.

They can ban whatever they want. It'll be worked around in months.

We should ban package trucks and airplanes too.

Fact is less than 300 rifles of ANY kind are used for murder each year in America based on FBI statistics. In a country of over 324 million this is a pretty small %. far more are beaten to death by bare hands.
