I'm doing 30 mins on the treadmill and then 30 mins with the weight machines. Originally Posted by Ms.Lady Y

If you haven't done them before, try to learn good squat form, they are THE BEST exercise for your legs, ass, and core. If you go to a gym to exercise, I doubt you'd have problems finding a spotter

I'm aware that gluten-free is not a fad for those with Celiac disease and is actually a necessity. However, Miss Y didn't say she was suffering from Celiac's disease, so I didn't think I would have to clarify that. Originally Posted by ThisIsHappening24

And I would even agree with you, low carb is sustainable, although I don't think its necessary to cut out "brown things" like whole grains and oats. Originally Posted by ThisIsHappening24

They were great when the average person worked physical labor for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, but are more like poison to those of us who spend most of our days on our asses. Whole grains still cause cravings in people with carb sensitivity, cause blood glucose spikes in diabetics and pre-diabetics, and cause weight gain in people with insulin resistance, which is estimated at 35% of the population. It's probably higher since most people have insulin resistance a long time before they ever get medically tested.

I think that anybody that wants to lose weight would do well to drop all grains from their diet, and then add them back as they reach closer to maintenance weight levels. Then, by adding in only one new food at a time, you can check to see if you have a sensitivity to them and would just be better off eating not eating them.

But then again, this is all based in current science, and since most registered dieticians haven't read up on current science, we can't expect mongers to be aware of it either.

show your body pic in 1980's
Ugg... I do not envy you in getting the gluten out. A person I know has Celiac and the more she cuts it out the worse her reactions if exposed.

Im with whom ever mentioned kettle bells. They are very cheap, you can do it at home, and the work outs are actually fun, well for me, and i hate working out! even though you are moving weight you do it in a smooth way and it really doesn't jar your joints. The best part is youtube is full of videos.
I lost over 100 lbs by not eating bread, cutting carbs to nearly 0, eating lots of good protein (chicken, fish, some beef, high quality protein shakes), stopped drinking soda, stopped all caffeine consumption, worked out 4 times a week (20 minutes of cardio and then 45 minutes of weights). Feel great and my dick grew four inches (well not really but losing 4 inches of fat around that part of the body makes it seem that way).
