Hobbyists' Rant

Time is on a continuum, and what I do now is not static to what I did in the past nor necessarily what I might do in the future. I don't read reviews now. I used to read reviews, and even do them (just check under my avatar for the list). But after trial and error, I decided that reading reviews can be extremely misleading. So, I quit for the most part. And after losing PA (no big loss IMHO), I rarely read them unless there was a reason to do so. And w/o PA, I don't have access to certain parts of the Showcases. You seem to infer that I complain about hygiene. That has never been one of my main complaints. There was only one lady that had that kind of problem. Most of the ladies I've seen have been impeccable when it comes to hygiene. Now, the grammar issue is true. And a lack of education, that's true also.
See I read your posts. Aren't you flattered? I didn't know about the lady
with bad hygiene I was just guessing. I'm glad I got the others right though.

And, since you follow me so well, N, you know I don't do incalls, so the double-wide comment was a throwaway, false and misleading on your part, and probably deliberately so. The rants I included were about actual $$$ and time lost, not the specious complaints Isis made.
Honey I know you don't do incalls. I was talking in general. I should have made myself clear. Even though you don't do incall, I know that you'd never see anyone in a double wide. So me misleading/false? No. You simply thought I was talking about one of your experiences when I wasn't. That was my bad. Sowwies!

I'm sure everyone has had bad experiences, but hopefully more good ones. Back when I first started I had quite a few bad ones. A provider who showed up who I found out had bad hygiene. One who charged extra for bjs. And alot who were out the door shortly after the first pop. I actually thought 1 hour or 1 pop was the standard because of this. Then last year I started reading review sites and saw two well reviewed providers and was very happy with both. They were higher rates than I had paid in the past, but considering they had consistent reviews, I gave em a shot. I'm not saying price is the key by any means, I'm sure there are plenty that price does not indicate quality, but there are some that are worth the extra.

Price isn't the key.... Reputation is.... You will have better chances with someone that has consistently better services than someone who doesn't.
This seems like as good a spot as any to make this post. I've been reading the rigamarole concerning London and now Isis with some fascination. I used to be a community moderator for an e-commerce/retailer with many many thousands of members both sellers and buyers. The nature of this board adds an enlightening twist but the discussions are fairly much the same. The false anonymity of the internet usually brings out the the worst in people, especially so when money is involved. I don't really have a point to make except that the mods have my sympathy.

Interesting.
This is completely voluntary I can assure you.
Perhaps I do this to help the hobby?
The men and women are safer because we volunteer.
That is my goal. No other. I believe in this. I believe it's important.

I think most are really missing CT's point (or maybe I am). I think his point was another poster came in and wasted time by creating multiple threads about anecdotal incidents that pissed her off. His thread is a response to the multiple meaningless threads (in his opinion) started by this other poster.

I get that Cpalm, however I don't think the threads were meaningless to everyone. There was actually some good discussion that came out of them, in between all the posturing and threadjacks of course.
Charles, I think it's terrible that all that happened to you. And yes I do complain about certain behavior, but I've also stuck up for hobbyists when they got short changed or scammed also....

(check out some of my posts- I stick up for the fellas too)

I understand that bad behavior goes both ways. Some hobbyists cross the line, and some escorts do also. As an escort I can only go by my own experience. But I think discussing these issues and being able to communicate openly with eachother is vital in determining the best way to handle each scenario.

When I have an issue, I like to get the male, as well as female perspective. And just yesterday, Charles, I was thinking about how I bitch alot also. So I was going to start a thread where I thanked all the wonderful hobbyists who are true gentlemen. The non-weirdo ones. The clean smelling, on time, respectful ones. There are alot of you fellas out there. I just met 2 recently who were amazing in every way.

Charles, I think the best way to handle any bad escort is to voice your opinion. Post an alert if she stole from you or short changed you in any way. Stress all of that in the review. People are only human, but if someone cannot do her job then in no way should they be taking your hard earned money. It upsets me alot when I real about these ballsy women who think they can get away with that stuff.

If you ever need someone to vent to feel free to PM me. Stay safe, II
We need a group hug. Everyone kiss & make up. There is alot that can go wrong, So let remember why we are here. To make Hobbying safer.
Just trying to lighten the mood!!!
XOXOXO!!!

My threads do ponder thought and are a reflection of my own experiences. So if you think thats a waste of time then don't read them. Eccie is for expression of thoughts/experiences.
