Good advice sir. Thanks for the info. In my experience if LE wants you , they will get you, so the trick is staying off their radar and te above advise leans that way. While an arrest is not a conviction it is pretty much a slam dunk in our court system. Who is the judge to believe an officer of the law or some young good looking lady, usually the judge sides with the cop. And a cop can never, ever admit Ooops arrested wrong person, in fear of losing their job. Be nice to the police, be nice with your neighbors, do not attract attention and be humble. You may stay off the radar.

Now the good news, there are ways to limit your chances of a bust ending in a conviction, other than the known ways, a few other things would be:[COLOR="rgb(139, 0, 0)"]
1. never have in your incall or on your person an excessive amt of cash.
2. never save texts or call history in your cell phone and DO NOT HAVE MORE THAN 1 CELL PHONE ON YOUR PERSON.(in court you WILL be found guilty of a criminal enterprise)
3. never do outcalls, as the law on a legal residence does offer some legal maneuvering.
4. never leave any sexual goods such as vibrators, lubricants, or condoms, (used or unused) in plain sight or in bulk quantities.
5. never overdress or underdress with a first time client(slinky clothing in court screams hooker).
6. never answer trick questions such as "do i need to bring my own rubbers" or "is this a bbbj or cbj" etc.
7. never be in the act of any other crimes while working, drugs are the number 1 reason for prostitution busts in the United States.
8. never draw attantion to yourself or your business in a public area, Keep your friends and pimps away from your work hotel, this is the biggest reason for busts by local authorities.
9. never say more than you need to to anyone (the right to remain silent has never hurt anyone when used)

Eden, the problem with incorporating any business is that it then becomes an open book to the government and must follow the letter of the law. With todays corporate regulations, a charge of simple inciting that may carry a year sentence, can become a big hornets nest of charges creating federal charges that could exceed 10 times as much in fines and sentences. Most people form a corporation to limit liability, however that is for CIVIL reasons, to protect personal assets. It does very little to protect in a criminal range. The one thing it does do is opens the door for Federal prosecution on charges that otherwise would be a state or local issue. I would not recommend anyone incorporate an escort agency unless they are in fact ONLY escorts and not providing any illegal services. Case in point is the 2008 bust of Desert Divas in AZ, an incorporated company is forced to keep records by the trade comission and it was those records that hung alot of people. heres an archived news story.

escorting is legal in all states and you can in fact claim it on taxes, however most claim it as an Entertainer. truth be told, nobody in history has ever been charged with a crime based on what they claim their income came from on their tax forms. You could put down prostitution and you will not end up arrested.
You need to report your income and pay taxes on it. You will note that even illegal activities including embezzlement is actually noted in the IRS instructions. The IRS is independent of law enforcement, for the most part (but not entirely). They do NOT report where your earnings comes from because that would be an illegal invasion of privacy. On the other hand, NOT reporting income can land you in double hot water!
Simply classify employment as "entertainment". As such, certain business expenses are deductible as long as you have adequate records. Some deductions include costumes that would not be usable as street attire, certain accessories, and of course, boob jobs and the like.
BTW, boob jobs are depreciating assets on a 3-year life. There has been an actual federal case, and the court ruled in favor of the entertainer because she could prove that an enhanced bustline increased her income. Keep in mind if you can show where you spent all of the income you claim to have taken in, you would not owe any taxes. Lets face it, what escort would claim everything she was paid if there is no other data on the amounts she recieved?

Actually the laws regarding prostitution changed recently. Now I don't know if this is for the state or just in New Orleans. They changed the classification of the crime from a felony to a misdemeanor. Basically if you are caught then they will issue a ticket (similar to a speeding ticket) and a date to appear in court.

Also Eden if you want to look at "legal" business models that are similar in nature to escort agencies then look into strip clubs. Some of the major chains are Rik's Cabaret, Spearmint Rhino, Score's, Jaguar's, Cheetah Club....etc.....etc.
