Leonard Slye was a bit actor who worked western movies out in the desert with John Ford, John Wayne and the like. They would go out for weeks to shoot. They set up camp and roughed it. That character he portrayed there got my interest in him.

He is listed Stephen from his birth name. Countless people are addressed different than what is there given name. Do people call you Barleycorn on the street? My name is Precious but i'm not always addressed as such.
