Nobody, nobody was trying to silence speech. They were there to stop the riots, the burning, the looting and the assaults by the not so peaceful agitators.

There is no "good cause" to riot, destroy and hurt people.

Yes, there have been peaceful BLM protests that were confronted by far right people looking for confrontation, just like ANTIFA and other far left people show up to confront the far right who want to march peacefully as the SC said even Nazi's have a right to do as long as they are peaceful but we are at a point where nobody on either side can march without the other side wanting to fight.


But those examples have nothing what so ever to do with the summer riots. There were no far right agitator's in Portland for over 100 nights. The weren't peacefully marching, they were trying to enter and destroy a federal building.



Then there was all the burning and looting over some deaths involving the police. No far right groups were agitating, it was the far left who couldn't control themselves by just peacefully marching because there was to much to burn and loot to get those "reparations" they were due says the BLM leaders.


You seem to be only able to see one aspect of BLM marching and the right confronting them and for some reason you can't see Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Kenosha, Baltimore.


There is no good excuse for burning down a building and looting, not even a questionable death.
