I consider myself more into the "kink" and "fetish".........any bdsm play that I do is done playfully & sensually.......to me it is all in the attitude as to what degree of bdsm you are into

You like to touch and be touched certain ways.
Other people like to touch and be touched in certain ways - that may or may not be the same as what you enjoy.

Its all about controled fun...sometimes I'm in control ....somtimes she in control.
It has its appeal but I'm not into it exclusively. I've tried both sides of the coin as a domme and a sub, but it's exhausting physically and mentally.

With women it's a little different. Submission requires a certain level of trust and knowledge (tying a knot is not easy). I'm not about to let a stranger whose play style I've never seen tie me up and whip my ass.
