The Nursing Life

I ALWAYS loved nurses ! If I met a woman and found out she was a nurse, her stock went way up.

Dated several of them during my single days. Each and every one of them were lots of fun sexually. I figured they weren't afraid to put their hands anywhere ! And they were always bawdy, robust, willing, and horny.

Mmmmm... Nurses...

Teachers ?

Nurses ... sigh. They are my #1 fantasy. Luv em ... luv em ... luv em.

Guess I just like being taken care of. Grin
I have noticed a lot of nurses are just frisky and live on the edge.
RN Sweetie - That is, and has always been me! That is why Stiletto Kitty and I are such great friends. We both "get" each other and have a real sense of admiration (and desire) for each other in and outside of this craZy hobby! We both deal with patients, in a clinical envirnonment, on a day-to-day basis, so it's nice to break free and unleash our pent-up "friskyness" on the side...from time to time!!!

Nurses are 24/7 caregivers. We love to please (& be pleased)!

I like many here have great respect for nurses. Hell, I am so old I remember whites and those cute caps. One Christmas Eve I was in a Naval Hospital in Japan, in a lot of pain. A Navy nurse came by after her shift to sit with me until I finally went to sleep.

I spent a lot of time recovering in military hospitals and I can testify that they have lots of storage and exam rooms. If you haven't seen Nurse Jackie, see it.
Was lucky enough to find myself in NOLA a few years back during a nursing convention. Hooked up with a nurse from Vegas and let me tell you ... a couple of the wildest days of my life ... my hotel ... her hotel, once when her roomie was unexpectedly in the room, we had to make do with the stairwell. Good Times!!

Fritz52 sorry you had the trip to the ER but glad everything is ok with your mother.
It is a whole different world now as you noticed. Like LuckJack said about the whites and little caps, i started nursing in those days. My whole graduating class had to wear the hat in graduation so i am telling my age there.
It is such a stressful job in todays times with the patient load so heavy on the Nurses. I still have a couple of friends that still nurse and they say they do all the work and the doctors make all the money. I feel for them. They say is is almost to much with the patient load than they can devote the time to give them good care.
Yes nurses are wild women , or at least the ones i have come to know over the 25 years i was in Nursing.
TheNurse, I, too schooled back in the day of white caps. They really sucked, didn't they?! Fortunately, no place I ever worked made us wear them!

I'm not even sure you could buy them anywhere anymore...

If someone wanted me to wear one in a session, I suppose I would if they brought it along...hmmmmm.
White Caps? I feel a stiffy coming on.
Same here Vnurse, i never had to wear them anywhere i worked after graduating. I tried to find mine a while back and cant seem to find it, but it was something that is gone from the uniform for sure now. Ah oh slowmover a stiffy?? Only one cure for that.......

Just wanted to say thanks to all of the care givers on here!

So I don't take over this thread would some of the nurses here care to PM me about the job and getting into nursing school?
slowmover...are you having a relapse darlin'? Methinks you need MORE nursing care! I tossed my nursing caps a LONG time ago but I think you have something I could "wear"!

Fishguy, check into talking with someone at your local community colleges for an Associates Degree or UT has a good program from what I used to know.

TheNurse, do you remember the caps that TCU students had to wear? I worked with a lot of them in Fort Worth. They looked like The Flying Nun! LOL!
Vnurse , now that you mentioned that i do remember that.LOL It was just like the flying nun.

Having spent more than my share of time in hospitals, I can say patients seldom are well enough to fully thank the nurses for their service. But no matter how bad off you are, there is a great feeling of comfort and reassurance when the nurse enters the room - even though the time is limited due to the number of patients.

I express my sincere gratitude for those of you who have served in that profession. You have touched people in more ways than you know.

PS: ignore my signature line for this post, please.
OldGrump...you are just an oldsweetie and you know it! LOL!
