I never understood how a provider could reach out previous clients. If they wanted to see you, trust me, they would find your number and contact you, it shouldn't be the other way around. What if he's with his wife, doesn't recognize the number and opens it around her and she just happens to glance at the screen and see the text? Stuff like that could ruin a marriage, break up a family, and all around just cause a lot of unnecessary drama. If you're sending out random texts to clients and they haven't given you the OK to do so, you shouldn't be a provider. Period. ..... It's kind of scary that just about anybody who has access to a computer can become a provider. It's even scarier that providers who do this kind of thing, as well as other questionable things, can become verified providers. So I totally understand where youre coming from as far as the whole reference thing.

There are certain boundaries that aren't supposed to be crossed and unsolicited texts are one of them.
