Testing - How Often

If you are a provider or frequently hobbyist obviously more often seems the reasonable thing to do. For the infrequent hobbyist, every 6-12 months would probally do (my guess). I believe I saw some home tests at some pharmacies, not sure what they cover as far as STD's.
I intend to get tested quarterly, but in reality, it only happens twice a year. I use the Nelson Tobedo clinic on Cedar Springs or my family doc.

Point is, you are responsible for your own safety.
I get tested anytime I'm within 6 feet of my ex-wife. But other than that I go every 4 months.

They recommend 1-2x a year for the 'normal' person, so I go every 3 months. In Canada I go every 30-45 days. Originally Posted by Missy Mariposa

I should get tested again soon, though I am 99.99% sure I am clean, since I don't sleep around a lot. And thanks to my mom growing up on a Super Fund site my family history has unusual items that cause new doctors to have the unrelenting urge run every single test they can think of on me. So I have the pleasure of knowing more about my body as anyone really should. Plus side even when I was 12 they always included STD tests that always come up negative. Though next time I get results back I might just bring them with me when I go to an appointment with anyone I haven't seen before. Figure the it might be a nice touch to show that I care, or might I be wrong on that?
