What is there to do around Conroe?

Thanks for the info. We had such a fun time, I am already planning a return visit!!! I can't wait to be there in warmer weather.

Conroe is quite a drive from where things are happening in Houston. Most of the things you describe are closer to downtown.
The Lone Star Convention center is in Conroe. Might check their website. They'll probably have a gun & knife show or rodeo going on.

I drive over 50 miles to Dallas (one way) several times a week, so the drive from Conroe to Houston is nothing. lol I did find a few cool places to relax and hang out while there. I cant wait to find more!!!

and now I will be looking up dates to the gun and knife show. LOL
