hahahahaha im not outraged at all.... ive had a great time here in austin. Today is my last day here and ive never had sooooo many guys haggle with me anywhere else ive been. Those are the guys who never got to see me. Im just making the point that we ladies can and do feel insulted when a guy says "hey i only got 70 bucks can i get a quickie for that" its unacceptable. If YOU feel insulted by me being insulted by that then you aren't someone i want to see anyway.

Say you don't offer 30 minute sessions and a guy offers you slightly more than your hourly rate for a 30 minute because that's all he wants. 1, you get money 2, you don't work as long, 3, you can squeeze in another session even another 30 minute and make more in that combined hour than in a 1 hour session.

Or say 5 guys offered you 20% less than your hourly rate during your stay here, you decline to see them and have a slow visit. You could have recouped some of the loss on the hourly rate by increasing your volume. That's what retail stores do when they have SALES....

I get you point i really do, maybe i am wrong for wanting the illusion that this is more than just a business transaction.

I think you are missing my point and that is that I, Jules Jaguar feel insulted when guys haggle my rates. I enjoy what i do and being a single woman this is how i have my fun as well. I just dont like to be made to feel like an item on the clearance rack. Some guys hunt for bargain pussy some hunt for a quality experience and im okay with that. My rates are not outrageous they are actually pretty fair from what ive seen around. I just dont like the way it makes me feel when i am haggled & not afraid to speak my mind on the subject.

"Hello I have ex amount of dollars to spend. What if anything can I purchase with that?"
Your response is either "I could use the $70 to pay for the gas home and have 15 minutes for a quick hj" or "Thanks for calling but I have no $70 items on my menu".

You have the option of throwing away easy money but be grateful the easy money is calling you. I wish we all had that option these days.

It's a bit ridiculous. Maybe Austin isn't for you. Have a great trip back and happy haggling !!!! Just saying. Lol

Howdy, Folks!

Jules,

Your rates are just that - YOUR rates. Just stick to your business plan, and the rest will sort itself out.

If someone says, "You're asking xyz per hour, will you accept abc instead?" Simply say, "No. My rate is xyz."

Settle all this BEFORE the session.

Easy - issue resolved.

Oh, and to paraphrase what you said earlier in this thread - If a fellow is unwilling to pay within your price range then simply move on to one that is.

I find the economics of the Hobby fascinating(I've posted on this before) - it is one of the purest forms of capitalism out there.

Thing is, folks - it's really best not to get emotional about the money. Pay what you wanna pay, fellows - if the going rate for what you wanna buy is too much, then....don't buy it.

Think about it fellows, when you travel and have to fly - do you get all up in the owner of some private jet's grill because he won't rent his jet to you at the price you wanna pay: a coach class ticket price?

If you do - well, let's face it - yer unreasonable and have an overinflated sense of entitlement. Either pay the rental price for the private jet, or ride the bus in the sky. Case closed.

That's just the way it is - no need to get upset about it.

Now, as stated before - if someone rents you a coach seat on a plane, and is charging you what you think are private jet prices - then you have an issue you may wish to investigate.

- Ask the other passengers - what did they pay?

- go online, and look at airfares; what's the average going rate to get to and from your travel points?

- did you buy your ticket 3 months in advance, or two hours before the flight? planning ahead can save lotsa money...

- Finally - are you just getting screwed by the airlines? It's possible; if so, do something about it. Call the CEO, hold a press conference, picket their ticketing window.

Don't get emotional about the money, folks - just be honest and up front. It really does work out for the best.

I wish you the best and I am not trying to be rude, but you come on and make such a matter of fact statement. You say I can't see it from your point of view but you are refusing to see our point of view also.

oooooh austin is for me and has been very very good to me i love this town, maybe i need a separate thread to thank all the wonderful guys i have seen during my visit here.

If a lady has a showcase reviews and p411 its not that hard to tell what her rates are... sure we cant put it in ads anymore but the info is usually just one click away. My point once again is how hard is it to just move along to a lady who is in your price range?

I knew i was gonna get a lot of shit for posting this and thats fine with me but maybe some guys do not know that some providers find this insulting.

And I totally understand your point business wise but we as providers all run our business differently. Some girls are high volume some are not. Some are fs some are not. Some are okay with negotiating their rates and some just aren't Im just stating how i feel about the subject.

Complaining is simply lower class and far more unprofessional than the guy trying to get you to lower your rate.

Take from it and learn and share with the other girls......

You have obviously identified that there IS a business here and an opportunity for someone to fill, perhaps not you, but someone usually steps up and fills the gap.

As the Economy continues to stay low... Guys ARE looking at options.....

The circle of "friends" I have that have been to the Luncheons and Dinners I put together are taking advantage of lower priced alternatives where they get more bang for their buck.

Guys that used to write Indy Reviews are still spending $300 a session but spending the $300 on a gal that is giving them 2-3 hours for it. And of course there are $200 girls as well as $50-$80 ITC action available to them as well. I think the Economy makes EVERYONE look around a bit as well as try to get a better deal.

I agree wholeheartedly that you have a right to set your price but someone is ALWAYS going to want a better deal.

Don't hate on them for asking.

Ignore it and move on.

im not hating on anyone, its also in the way you ask. There are plenty of guys out there who still can and will pay whatever rate the lady is asking with no hesitation if thats the lady they want to see.

Maybe im old fashioned, maybe im just bat shit crazy who knows LOL
