Reviews... do u ask for them? Do u give them?

Down this road of good intentions lies many a trap that will ensnare you in drama. But since you brought it up...

Eccie is not set up to provide feedback to the providers. I'm not making an accusation against the board or its design. I'm not sure how that would work anyway. We all know not everyone on the board is operating as a well adjusted, secure, and mentally stable adult. And no, I'm not talking about you or me.

I was found guilty of violating the rules when I shared the contents of reviews I had just written with the provider involved. Yeah, I'm a schmuck. Admit it, you knew it anyway. It never occurred to me that would be wrong but I had to read to rules again. And it isn't so much that I can get in trouble, but as a result I could get the provider in trouble as well. If she inadvertently forwarded a part of that message to someone else, then it became public, then someone recognized it was a verbatim copy of ROS/hidden/restricted/off-limits/etc. comments the provider could then be in trouble and at risk of being banned. That was certainly not my intent.

At this point, when I write a review of a companion, I usually also write a PM to the companion letting them know I posted the review, and some highlights of my memory of the tryst. I make absolutely sure I do not use the same phrases included in the review ROS section. Then if anything leaks out, neither she nor I are at risk of the appearance of her having access to ROS contents through me or any other manner.

My advice concerning reading your own reviews? Don't do it. I don't care where you find the information, just don't. If you quote it, even once while drunk or pissed off, then you will do damage to your reputation on the board. It isn't worth it to you as a provider.

And now for the rest of the post:

As to the bigger question of whether providers should be able to read the ROS, ostensibly to learn from them, there are a couple of significant problems you have to overcome.

First, you have to put yourself in the mindset of who the intended audience of the review. This is guys writing for guys. Think dudes watching football, swilling beer, scratching nuts, and talking smack. Even among that crowd there are some who will always be somewhat genteel about their comments and others who want to rave about what they did to whom with rather colorful, if not inappropriate, language. But remember, these guys are scratching their nuts too, so what do you expect. And no, they didn't take a shower before watching the game. That's why the nuts itch.

Second, there is a wide spectrum of providers on this board, some nice and sweet even when being wild in the sheets. Then there is the other end of the spectrum where she may talk smack and be the nastiest, raunchy, out of control girl you have ever met. The truth is all of the providers are some mix of those extremes and that is all good. The difficulty arises when raunchy in bed gets hooked up with the alpha male, then he writes about it in raunchy terms. If she reads that in the light of day when she is a sweetheart, and doesn't understand his point of view, and completely misunderstands the language he is using to complement her bedroom skills, there's going to be drama. Lot's and lot's of drama.

And third, who is going to make sure both the author of the review and the reader have the maturity to read the review in context? We have drama among the guys over reviews and we're all scratchin'. Well most of us. There's one or two I'm not sure about...

The best way for a provider to get feedback from the client's perspective is to have a good relationship with one or more clients and then ask for constructive criticism of your encounters. But before you ask, be sure you want to know. Don't risk damaging a good financial relationship because he makes a comment about how his dinner at the Y smelled. Some guys like their pussy all sweet smelling, others want that musky scent. No one really want's a stinky one, but my point is you could get offended just because the guy has slightly different tastes than you expect. Remember, I said good relationship with the client. That means he is coming back... he likes you, enjoys time together, so don't get bent out of shape over one small thing. I'm bringing it up because real criticism is very hard for most people to take, even when delivered in a kind and respectful manner.

After all that B/S!!! You do deserve a "slap on the wrist" for being a White Knight and sending portions of a review or post to a provider. I hope the mods ban you the next time you pull that crap.

I like to do reviews since I think I am a pretty good writer!! LOL...seriously though, I always ask and usually I will only do one or two reviews from the same provider. I admit, once I find a good provider I will stick with her since I am comfortable with her. I do know that there are guys in here that read reviews and then IM the ladies I have seen with ROS particulars...that is NOT cool at all...as far as ever writing a bad review on here....I just don't see it with the professionals we have here on the board....I do alot of homework before I PM someone...like to make sure they have the same interests as I do! Sorry for the jumbled mess of thoughts!!!! :-)
So you are going to give me an oral exam? Can you go ball's deep? Are your teeth going to scratch me? Are you going to quit before the end, and if not are you going to spit?

I'm no White Knight, so &#$^ off. If I want to tell a provider I had a good time and why that is my business and always will be. It just matters that I do it within the context of the rules. OK, I can live with that.

And exactly what was B/S in your esteemed opinion. Obviously you are presenting yourself as a bullshit expert now, so I am interested.

If anyone is dumb enough to be drunk and/or pissed off and be in the presence of someone that is of the eccie community... that person is clearly already an idiot. Or if anyone was stupid enough to quote something from a review, their rep SHOULD be damaged. They did that too themselves. Speaking of rep damaged... not knowing whats being posted in the reviews could be damaging. Again, we wouldnt know bc we cant read it..

As providers, we SHOULD be able to understand that the reviews were written from a man's point of view. Thats why we want to read it.. and its not like we were expecting to hear it from a womans pov..
There IS a wide spectrum of providers, but being as though there is also a wide spectrum of hobbyists.... I don't see the significance of that other than the maturity thing. There is nobody to make sure the review is written and read by mature people. There's never going to be.. thats why theres immature hobbyists who write bad reviews for the wrong reasons.. or stretch the truth in reviews. It's one thing to make the review sound good so that its worth reading, and its another to add false things to the story. Other hobbyists may read that and expect to receive it during a session.. or read the review and be turned off by it.

I think at least we should be able to read them. All the immature providers would just have to deal with the fact that they dont give bjs as well as they thought they did. And if the men can write reviews.. we should be able to as well. Its not like the women have an area to discuss topics about the men. There is NO women only area any longer. When a gent sees a provider he is interested in, he reads the reviews. Then decides for himself if thats the experience he's looking for. I'd want to make sure the experiences these gents are getting are what I am aiming for, otherwise I'm going to want to change that.
Sometimes no matter how comfortable you are with someone they still are not going to tell u the things they DON'T like about your sessions... even if they are minor things. After all, they ARE coming back aren't they? So clearly there isnt anything that you're doing that is making them not want to return. But what about the others? The people who don't want to come back bc of something that u didnt realize bothered them... it could be bothering others too an you'd never know.

I think we should be able to write them for verification purposes. If providers wrote some type of review of the gents, verification would be a breeze.

I like reviews, they do wonders for my web traffic. I *have* asked for them - but it was a special situation. if I am in a new destination that I have never toured IF the boards come up I will then ak "Do you review? If you had the time I'd love one so I could come back to this city" (as reviews in new cities absolutely DO make future tours possible). But other than that, nope.

As for why a woman wouldn't want reviews? Privacy and being UTR.

I probably should write more reviews than I do for the ladies I have seen. There are a lot of different variables involved with this. If I feel like a provider has a lot of positive reviews then to me it becomes redundant to write another one. For example if she has 1-2 positive reviews in a week then it becomes what is the point? However I may point out in a review how amazing she is.

Some providers who are low volume do not care for reviews.

I will write one if I had a great experience and the provider requests a review.

On the negative side everything written in ROS is out there for backlash. I tend not to put a lot of details in the ROS becasue I feel some things should be left to the man and woman. I have gotten criticized in the past in PM's for this. Some intimate details should not be included because it is based on chemistry. What one provider may do with one guy that she has chemistry with may not happen with say the next guy.

I can understand where AXTdream is coming from when a hobbyist lets her kown everything he has written about that encounter. Every single naughty detail. It can give a provider pause about seeing that guy again.

I was turned off at the criticism at a guy who wrote a review of Mikaela. They turned his positive review into some firestorm on 300.00 CBJ. If a guy writes a review of Mikaela of course it is going to be that. Save the negativity for the Coed section. "Cmon Man"

Guys on here want a honest review but there are some on here that will blast a guy for it. Blast a guy for in their opinion for overspending. For not giving enough juicy details. If you want more juicy details then go and experience the provider yourself. I will only offer my critiicsm of a review if I think the review is very inconsistent. For example he enjoyed himself greatly, the service was great but he gave a No for a recommendation because Provider was not his type. I mean WTF!!!

The other problem I have is if a guy writes a review or two on the same provider he is declared a White Knight. Or if he agrees with someone else about how great a lady is he is deemed a White Knight. Talk about being short sighted!

Just my half a cent on this Mother's Day. BTW Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful ladies on this board.

Time to kick back another corona on the beach and work on a tan for my white pasty self.

I don't write reviews and I don't give reviews much weight as what happens between 2 people should be only between them and I don't want a carbon copy session of what some other guy had. I want to feel like my time with them is just for me, not for an audience.
I've also had some providers who don't like having reviews due to the discretion factor or actually lack of discretion. With Big Brother reading reviews if I were skating on a legal boundary line I sure wouldn't want anyone blabbing about my services for LE to read.

Also just recently I read some negative things someone wrote about someone I had seen and enjoyed so its subjective for me. He didn't like her. I did.
Reviews can be helpful. I like them, because sometimes they work better than ads, but I honestly HATE not being able to read my own reviews here. I've been saying it since I joined, how am I to know if there's a problem with my service if it's mentioned in a place I don't have access to? I can be walking around thinking I'm Queen Pornstar GFE Extraordinaire, but my reviews are saying something different and I would never be the wiser.

On the flip side, I have seen many girls act bat shit crazy when they get a review that's less than stellar and somehow they gain access to the ROS. It causes a lot of drama and he said she said. Usually it ends bad and one party gets banned.

Another thing I wondered... If I see a provider in a BCD session, can I write a review of her? Would I be granted Premium Access like a guy would? Or would I just be the kinky provider that sees other providers?

Reviews are a "tool" in a way for us. Reviews is also a kind of "advertizment for the young ladies (who has been around for a million years Ms. Likinikkie?). I love reading them! They are better than reading the articels in Playboy!
I don't really care for reviews..............I needed them in the beginning to get verified and "established" I guess but never asked for em' or even wanted them, I kind of even thought that they were supposed to write themI have had guys ask me if they could write them to get "premium access". I think the guys want to know info so that is why they are there but if they really want to see a lady they will ask around and get info somehow. For us "low volume" ladies(or for me anyway)reviews attract all kind of attention and sometimes the wrong kind-Just because I feel comfortable doing something with one guy ain't gonna mean I will feel comfortable doin' it with every guy that comes along and that kind of stuff I mostly got from the young guns..............I have always preferred older guys(in this fantasy world and the real world)plus, to get at what I am saying I haven't had a review in a while and even last year when I was seeing guys a least twice a week I would ask them not to write reviews because I was not able to "play" alot. I have my showcase and that is all I really want or need. I think having a great time with a girl can be hidden and not spoken of, but rest assured-if a girl was a bad time but allowed "no reviews" the guys would make sure to warn others and start convo about itdang it............I have more to say but I gotta go...............booooooooo: )

I've written a couple of reviews mainly to get premium access. Never posted a bad review but have had a couple of bad experiences. I completely feel that reviews are necessary even for long time providers as things change. Heck menu's even change from time to time.

The negative: I consider myself a regular guy when it comes to BCD activities. I've tried a few things that might be outside the norm but overall I'd say I'm "normal" in that aspect. I read reviews before seeing a lady to see if they be a match for me. On several occasions I'll get into the ROS and find myself complete grossed out by what the guy says he had done or did with a certain provider. Has this prevented me from seeing a few ladies? Absolutely. But at the same time do those same activities help get them new clients? Absolutely.

I think that ROS is a great way to make sure each client you see knows the providers limits and boundaries whether that be black and white or completely in left field. I always remember that YMMV no matter what the ROS says.
