summer seasonals.... what are your favorites?

New Belgium beers are some of my favorites. I was fortunate enough when I lived in CO to go to the brewery tour. IT was AWESOME. The second seasonal in my pic is New Belgium's Rolle Bolle. Nice subtle hints of soursop (which I also drink occasionally). Let's go! I'm making a trip to Spec's TODAY!

Thanks Me.Meat. Spear: One of my brews is Lost Gold IPA. That has such a satisfying taste I could drink it year round. Originally Posted by Luxury Daphne

So I tried the St. Arnolds.. it was good, not spectacular but good. Here's my collection since I've had the conscious of mind to start chronicling the 70 or so beers I've tried over the years. The two from Real Ale are probably my favorites out of the group other the the Grolsch. Lost Gold IPA and the one at the end of the first pic Devil's Backbone. Delicious!

Just found the first pumpkin beer of the season yesterday.... Blue Moon Pumpkin. Decent stuff for the lighter beer.... I prefer Saint Arnold's Pumpkinator.

Is it Fall yet?
NO! lol

Daphne, did you go to the beer fest in Houston a few months ago?
I wished I was able to, but I had to work. Maybe next year. I did the Tap n Run race in Denver the year before last, and they finally decided to bring it to Houston (YAY!!) so November 9th I will be there... I just need to assemble a team and decide what to wear.

You need to ditch some of that baby town frolics stuff you're drinking and get into some of the good beers that are out...

Some of the best beers that are out right now are:

Lone Pint Yellow Rose (Magnolia, TX: think of it as a session IPA... very smooth)
Karbach Hop Delusion (Houston, TX: arguably the best IPA right now)
Stone Ruinten (or Ruination) (California: an outstanding IPA)
Founders Cenntennial or All Day IPA (Michigan: both very good IPA's)
Ballast Point Sculpin (Cali: very good IPA)

Get it while you can.... they'll stop producing IPA's for Fall beers very soon.
Yessir! Thanks!

How about some october seasonals, Daphne? I raided the beer section in Whole Foods yesterday. I haven't stopped drinking since. Wooooo party in Katie's bed. I love beer in cans. PorkSlap and Blonde Bombshell is two of my favorites. I just opened this and thought of you--Karbachtoberfest--prost! I won't be saving the can.

not a seasonal but perhaps the best brewed American beer I have ever had. Tastes like a classic English ale.
