Once a Provider/Hobbyist.....

It think its evidenced by all the "retirements" that occur in this business, both sides. Someone "retires" and invariably they are back, often times within weeks or months. The lure of the money/pussy/variety/relationships is too great for most people to simply walk away forever. Its called addiction, and I am totally OK with that!

Thats why the line in Hotel California came to my mind reading this thread
"You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave"

Excellent thread and topic, EA!

LOL love it! I do think he was referring more to a state of mind than the physical sense of being. I doubt I will ever recover fully from the mental aspect of this business. Originally Posted by London Rayne

I'm not one to put much stock in song lyrics but this little sonnet describes it pretty well too. It ALL about the mental aspects and state of mind.

I've heard this a couple of times. Do you men/women really feel that way? I mean do any of you think that one can leave this world of ours and truly give themselves to an SO? Originally Posted by Eccie Addict

I can't even see hobbying when I'm ready to start dating again........I do like the ladies I have met though. Some are pretty darn cool!!

London - never been an issue getting a reference, it's just part of my own mental idiocy lol
i view it as having the best of both worlds and even when I return to my other profession I am sure i will continue this PT. It meets my needs and desires and my BFE's are great guys all of them...
