Why I Oppose Barack Obama
John Hawkins | Oct 18, 2014

We keep hearing from liberals that people who oppose Barack Obama MUST feel that way because of rascism. As if there couldn’t be another reason or for that matter, dozens of other reasons like…

· The IRS scandal

The guy who was head of the department was fired. He testified before congress that this was a problem of business analysts could not process an unusual large amount of paper applications in an efficient manner.

· Obamacare

If you are ok with medicare part d, then you should not have a problem with the ACA, they are both trillion dollar expenses. The uninsured coal miners in Kentucky love their new health insurance. ( They think it is paid for by the state website instead of the ACA)

· Fast and Furious

The concept of gun walking started with Bush. It has been shown many time the agents in the Arizona office did not send an email to Holder until after the guns were allowed to walk.

· Opening up the borders and illegally implementing the DREAM ACT

The borders were already open. Bush said in a state of the union address "It is not practical to round up 10 million people and send them home".

· Lying about being opposed to gay marriage in 2008 and then supporting it later

You can have this one.

· Refusing to turn away flights from nations with Ebola

Did you see the testimony before congress of the doctors from the CDC and NIH. They both said they are against the travel band. Those two doctors know more about infectious diseases then anyone on the planet.

· Killing NASA’s manned space program

NASA should be privatized. This would cut government spending and make the republicans happy.

· Losing America’s AAA credit rating

Moody's restored it back to a AAA rating. This was the fault of Bush 2. He increased spending and lowered taxes at the same time. Also, Bush spent 2 trillion dollars looking for wmd's in Iraq that were already 25 years old and not functional.

· Helping radical Islamists take over in Libya and Egypt

Both leaders who were replaced had to go.

· His obnoxious bowing to other world leaders

· His doing nothing of consequence to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons

You want to spend another 2 trillion?

· Cash-for-Clunkers

Bush put the USA into the steepest recession since 1929. Republicans did not believe in regulations for wall street. Wall street was allowed to trade high risk products and lost all of their money doing so. See Lehman Brothers and AIG for examples. Why not help the middle class?

· Benghazi

Benghazi is not the first embassy that was not protected with American troops. They used the local militia and when they were called they did not show up. It's true Hillary did not listen to or read all of her cables. The bottom line is Panetta did not send a plane and neither would Gates, who use to work for Bush.

· 1 out of every 5 Americans is on food stamps thanks to Obama

This is because of the Wall street meltdown that happened under Bush 2. Fortune 500 companies started to lay off significant number of employees in reaction to the Wall street meltdown.

· Going to war multiple times without congressional approval.

Congress approved of the surge in AG

· Creating the rise of ISIS in Iraq by not leaving American troops there

Al-Malaki got the government that he wanted. He did not want the USA there. Two different 4 star generals have said what is needed is Airstrikes and a more inclusive government in Iraq to include all of the sects.

· Losing the fight against ISIS

It was reported on the Fox today that the Airstrikes have made the ISIS retreat. Go watch the Kelly File with Megan Kelly on Fox.

· Losing the war in Afghanistan

Al-kaida is on the run both the one and two guys are gone and off the organization chart.

· He’s a gun grabber

Another Newtown or Colorado movie incident should not happen again.

· Illegally bypassing Congress many times with overreaching, unconstitutional executive orders

Republicans do the same thing

· Trading Taliban terrorists for deserter Bowe Bergdahl

The terrorists had been in Gitmo for 12 years and if not tried were going back to their home country after the war anway.

· Wasting billions to bail out his union allies at General Motors and the now Italian owned Chrysler

The unmemployment rate would have gone to 15%, if GM and Chysler were allowed to fail.

· His nearly trillion dollar failed stimulus program

The stimulus program did not fail. It allowed the economy to stablelize and gain traction. Republicans in congress like Michelle Bachman borrowed millions for their districts.

· Increasing the debt from $10.6 trillion when he took office to $17.8 trillion today

Bush spent 2 trillion in Irag and we are still paying interest for the unpaid off principal. There was a lot money spent on QE1, QE2, QE3 etc to offset all the bad paper that Wall street dumped into the market. All of the tax percentages should be set back to the rates that Clinton was using not just the rates in the highest tax bracket.

….and the sad thing is, this isn’t even remotely close to a comprehensive list of Obama’s scandals, corruptions, stupidities and lawlessness. It’s just that reciting the sheer number of poor decisions and bad policy choices that Obama has made would cause people to mentally check out, like they do when they’re trying to wrap their minds around the almost unimaginable size of the national debt.

In fact, other than not stopping SEAL Team 6 from killing Osama Bin Laden, conservatives have disagreed with Obama on almost every significant decision of his presidency. When it matters, he either does nothing when he needs to do something, does something when he should be doing nothing or just plain old does the worst thing possible.

To top it all off, Obama doesn’t have that frustrating naiveté of Jimmy Carter or that “Well, he might be a jackass, but he’d probably be fun to chat with over a burger” charm of Bill Clinton.

Obama is both shockingly incompetent AND toweringly arrogant. He’s both habitually ineffective and habitually condescending. The man lies as often as a professional con man, but is so used to having his bumbling excused that he’s not even good at lying.

Certainly Obama would be more tolerable if he were called out for his screw-ups by his supporters, but he’s like the stereotypical no-good rich kid who gets away with being a punk because his dad is wealthy and owns the only factory in town. There are liberals who support Obama because he’s a liberal. There are Democrats who support Obama because he’s a Democrat. There are black Americans who support him because he’s black. But, there’s almost no one giving any sort of defense of Obama based on his doing a good job or because he’s actually helping the country. In fact, there’s very little defense of Obama at all anymore; there are just attacks on his political enemies, bald faced lies that even his own supporters have trouble swallowing, and excuses.

Oh, and are there excuses.

“It’s George Bush’s fault! The Republicans won’t do what I want! Sarah Palin said this! Rush Limbaugh said that! The media doesn’t support me enough. We didn’t add more jobs because it was cold this winter!”

What exactly does Obama ever do right? Certainly not the economy since there are fewer Americans working today than the day he took office. How about the fight against ISIS which we’re currently losing? How’d the roll-out of Obamacare work out? Did everyone who liked his plan get to keep his plan? What do we have to show for all the money Obama spent on the stimulus? Did he ever get to the bottom of the IRS scandal?

On second thought, does Obama ever get to the bottom of ANY scandal? Nixon was a choirboy compared to Obama and if we’re being perfectly honest about it, the only reason Obama hasn’t been impeached is because Americans don’t want to impeach the first black President. For all the talk about “racism” that we’ve heard, Obama’s race has been his #1 asset. He was elected and re-elected despite not being qualified for the job because he is black, he’s been treated with kid gloves by the press even for a Democrat because he’s black and the only reason he’s avoiding impeachment at this point is because he’s black. That’s a pretty big comedown from the high hopes so many Americans had after the first black President was elected. Obama’s election was going to be the exclamation point that proved America had gotten beyond race and instead, it turned out that the Jackie Robinson of the Presidency was the worst player to ever walk on the field and it was easier for his fans to blame “racism” than admit it.

What it comes down to is that Obama isn’t just a blithering, bumbling Barney Fife without the charm. He’s dishonest, corrupt, narcissistic – and, no, he doesn’t “mean well.” He doesn’t seem to give a flat damn about the country, the American people or anything other than glorifying himself and his ideology. He’s a vainglorious bush leaguer who was never worthy of the presidency in the first place and who views the American people as his servants instead of viewing himself as a servant of the people. That makes him a bad President. That makes him dangerous. That makes him a bad guy. Originally Posted by IIFFOFRDB

100,000 poor people from one of the most disastrously bad countries in the world coming to the United States - how can you possibly think that is a good idea for the United States?

You would be better off paying some other country a billion dollars to take them....it would be ten times cheaper.
Give someone else the permanent underclass, crime, poverty, poor schools, poverty, etc..
Why is the US responsible for all the other dysfunctional countries and the results of their bad policies, graft, and corruption?

The bullshit excuse about "unusual (sic) large amount of paper applications" has been proven false.

There has still been no one fired, or charged, regarding the inter-agency coordination to intimidate and harass political conservatives. I suppose you probably aren't even aware of those allegations, as informed as you are.

Your entire argument here is based on proven lies. Try again.

No, alot of conservatives WEREN'T happy with Medicare Part D. This is one of several reasons why Republicans got shellacked in 2004, 2006, and again in 2008. Conservative voters held conservative politicians responsible for the shit sandwich they shoved down America's throat. Your entire post is one long, nauseating example of how liberals will keep swallowing the shit Obama and Company shovel no matter HOW deep it gets.

You still aren't helping your argument here. This is yet another area where Bush showed himself to be a liberal light, and another of the reasons why Republicans took it on the chin, ultimately losing control of both houses of Congress.

Both Frieden and Collins are Obama appointees. Two more examples of Obama's utter inability to surround himself with the best and brightest. Just in case the morons he appointed to the CDC and NIH aren't enough, he turns around and appoints a political hack/operative to be the "Ebola Czar", demonstrating in no uncertain terms that Obama's ONLY priority is POLITICS.

Man I just love the way you morons spin, spin, and spin. We've been listening to "Bush lied and people died" for more than a decade. Now you dipshits turn on a dime with this ridiculous "Oh, well those WMD's we've been saying weren't there for the last 10 years are old, so they don't count"

Bush was right. If Bush were like your boy Obama, he'd have been taking victory laps and doing the end zone dance, like Obama did with Seal Team 6. Fortunately, he has a little more class than your boy.

I guess you just ignore the mountain of data that shows that tax revenues INCREASED as a direct result of Bush's tax cuts. Facts are just so damned inconvenient for you idiots. What is the phrase I'm looking for here? Oh yes, they are an 'inconvenient truth' aren't they?

Yup, yup. Its Bush's fault alright. The CRA just updated itself all on its own. Lowering bank reserves requirements, allowing sub-prime mortgages to be bundled, whitewashing the fraud at Freddie and Fannie - all that stuff happened all on its own right? No Democrat involvement at all! No Sir! Just don't take a peek at which politicians Freddie and Fannie (you know, the GOVERNMENT agencies) were pouring political contributions to.

The stimulus program did not fail. It allowed the economy to stablelize and gain traction. Republicans in congress like Michelle Bachman borrowed millions for their districts.
Yes, actually it failed. Massively. Numerous reports have shown that disbursement of stimulus funds was rife with cronyism, fraud, and abuse, funds did not go to supposed 'shovel ready' projects, and ultimately had no impact on stabilizing the economy, reducing unemployment, or saving jobs. Once again, those annoying little things called facts just keep getting in your way.
AP Relays WH Howler: $483B Deficit Is 'Return to Fiscal Normalcy'

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blu...iscal-normalcy

By Tom Blumer | October 19, 2014 | 12:27 PM EDT

The White House is apparently feeling pretty full of itself over the fiscal 2014 federal budget result it has just reported.

Reacting to the news that this year's deficit was "only" $483.4 billion, White House budget director Shaun Donovan crowed that "This is a return to fiscal normalcy." The press, of course including Andrew Taylor at the Associated Press, has accepted all of this with little challenge, including the administration's misleading "percentage of GDP" assertions, which completely ignore how much more the national debt has grown than the reported budget deficits. Taylor went one step further, blatanty deceiving readers as to how much money the federal government borrows for every dollar it spends.
