I agree with everyone else who's said it's none of the OP's business and he shouldn't become involved. I don't understand why the provider would even talk to you about it, unless you pay her to tell you her troubles, not to fuck her. If you think helping her out will get you a discount, or special treatment, you're a damn fool.
