you know something not yet public?

You're the lawyer, but in layman's terms, this is bull shit. The man tried to steal an election, and instead they're going after him for paying a porn star to keep quiet. That's nuts. Originally Posted by Tiny

many legal types have said an indictment doesn't disqualify Trump from running. a conviction (felony) doesn't automatically disqualify Trump either.

this is a publicity stunt by Bragg who ran on a "Get Trump" campaign.

This is another instance of our justice system out of control.

These prosecutors need to start thinking about what’s going to happen if they put all the taxpayers in jail. Who’s going to pay the taxes?

Ok so Trump was impeached twice and now he's indicted. So he's no longer a threat to our Democracy. Are you and a few others going to continue to beat this dead horse? Originally Posted by Levianon17

The first ex-president charged with a crime.

Never missing an opportunity, Mr.Trump came out with this:

Trump almost immediately escalated his fundraising pitches Thursday night, asking his supporters in an email titled, “BREAKING: PRESIDENT TRUMP INDICTED,” to give at least $24 to “defend our movement from the never-ending witch hunts.”

He claimed all contributions would be matched up to 1,500 percent, but failed to say who would match the donations.

Note: there's that darn word "claim" again.
