Don't look know, Hillary used the same deduction as Trump!

You stupid bastards are doing everything you can to try and make this look like Drumpf is OK because of this.

I wonder how many contractors got stiffed when HRC declared bankruptcy? I wonder how many shareholders got fucked when she skipped off with their money?

Just don't think that because you hear a thing it is a thing.

Trump didn't break the law. He gamed the system. For years.

That makes him a cheat and an asshole. And dishonest.

Why do you believe he's qualified to reform the system, or that the greedy orange blowhard would even consider doing such a thing?

The double standard is unbelievable.

One is dealing in policy and the other in dirt.

Pity you can't see the difference.

there seems to be a lot of idiotic rancor and little truth to the left's posts regarding trump, his taxes, and bankruptcy

first trump never declared individual bankruptcy
so all debts owed personally were paid

that means all business expenses that were part of the net operating loss he incurred in 1995 were paid.

if he had become a bankrupt personally, the net operating loss would have disappeared and would not have offset any future (or past) taxable income.

another charge is he "gamed" the system.

you think he wanted a 900 million dollar loss so he wouldn't pay tax? that's beyond stupid. he spent 900 million to save maybe 350 million in tax? and that savings is a maybe and only if he could earn a lot in the future? that type of "gaming" the system is pretty stupid

so no he didn't. that claim is so dumb as to be almost not worth a response

the system is the system. he had a business loss, net business losses offset any future income, or can be carried back. that's it. the fact a loss can only be carried back three years (its two years now, unless you are a farmer or rancher) and forward 15 years is in large part due to the government making you continue to work and provide jobs etc into the future to use up your legitimate loss, instead of allowing a total carryback.

Charitable contributions do the same thing. most charitable contributions are what are called 50% donations. there are also 30% donations, like a donation to a private foundation.

what the 50% or 30% refer to is the maximum allowed deduction in any one year; either 50% or 30% of your adjusted gross income is the most you can deduct. but any donation in excess of that percentage, is carried forward and deducted the next year with the same percentages applied.

so there are all types of carryforwards - business losses, capital losses, charitable deductions, investment interest expense, foreign tax paid, a whole list of credits like the research credit etc. THAT IS THE LAW. that isn't "gaming" anything

Good to know how she took that deduction, $3,000 to be exact. So did Trump lose $916 mil by selling his OTC stocks? If so, he has to hop into a time machine and travel back to the Stone Age to start his "capital loss carryover," then get back by now to find out if he still has any "leftover" on his deduction.
hellary must have had her son-in-law as an investment advisor

you know, the guy she tried to bail out in her "official" duties as sec of state when he made all those disastrous bets with other people's money on greece

Did YouRong actually post this shit? I know it was quoted, but if he actually posted it, it sure is dumb ....

Yes, I can see the difference. He's too fucking dumb to see it!

"released" vs. "obtained"!

I know the difference.

The former is VOLUNTARY and the latter is INVOLUNTARY!!!!!!

But he can't read maps either!!!!

Trump broke no laws. He followed the law as written. He's been audited for years. No crimes uncovered. There is nothing here but leftist demagoguery. No one here would forego a legitimate deduction in order to pay more tax. No one. The problem is the income tax. We need to replace it.

Really? The Clinton's stole money from the state of Arkansas. Hillary personally ordered the destruction of Whitewater documentation as the investigation began.
More documentation vanished from the office of a key witness shortly after his suicide. A Clinton aide was seen leaving with the evidence which was found 2 years later in the Clinton's basement.
This is just one of the scandals associated with the Clinton family.
They're by no means squeaky clean.

I really don't get the double standard. This is not a defense of Trump. This is only to point out that saying he is corrupt is absolutely ridiculous if you support Hillary.
