Socialism on paper looks really good, I have to admit. But the problem lies in that some are far smarter than others and are willing to work harder than the lazier, less intelligent majority. Wolff has some ideas, but the strength is in identifying the problems of our crony capitalist system, which is growing more fascist daily. I personally think that if we could turn the tide and get back to a more free market system, many of those problems would be mitigated or eliminated. Did you see it? Saying something this is true is considered "old school" by STD. I guess anything written before 1960 is "old school" whether it is right or wrong. Okay, think for yourself. Most jobs are small business and small business can't be setting up oversears. So that is a mistake or lie on your part. What is hurting small business is the new regs being put on them by those lovely progressives demanding higher minimum wages, more environmental standards, and new EEOC rules. Just had a story yesterday about all the eateries closing in Seattle because of people not being hungry....no, that wasn't it. It was because the voters decided to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour. It doesn't matter how smart you are (even if you are a progressive) if the math doesn't support you.
