Well all I can say is I appreciate what Slixa is doing cus it's working I am getting appointment from there. Especially since they are so new I am impressed. They assured us when we signed up they would do all they could to drive traffic our way. It's working!

Anyway if someone is that frustrated by a little ol pop up then they need to come see me...lol They will be so happy.

First thing I always do when I see pop ups like that is just click it away.

I don't need anything I didn't ask for.

Eccie is really pushing the limits, I'm close to getting rid of all the shit here.

I don't like the pop ups either. In a perfect world, I'd bitch to St. Christopher about it, but it really is a small thing. If the ECCIE administration gets rid of them-- great, I appreciate it. If not, I just trudge on. Last thing you want to do is punish third party individuals who have absolutely no control over this.

Slixa is provider ad site? Heck, I thought Slixa was a vagina/taint/anal lube.
I am not insensitive to the providers needs to advertise wherever they deem appropriate. That is their, and only their, business. Similarly, the only pressure that can be exerted on the fking scum who run Slixa and think it is alright to inflict pop-up advertising on people are the providers. I hope they will consider applying their economic pressure to these vermin.

Fancy, you are not my cup of tea, so my opinion is irrelevant to you. I have a boatload of respect and admiration for you as you consistenly show yourself to be a strong and wise woman; also I, like you, am a dog person and your devotion to dogs is impressive. No offense intended in any way.

Awwwww, that was a sweet thing to say, NorthWood. Thank you! It is refreshing to see people can be civil to each other while discussing issues, and respectful even thought they may never meet.

I wasn't offended in any way. I was truly curious as to why Slixa had earned your ire. I am a little put off with them at the moment myself for sending me a sycophantic form letter: "We consider you to be a founding Slixa girl that supported us early on and that will never be forgotten. You are truly gorgeous, your Slixa profile is gorgeous, and honestly, you are the specific class of entertainer that Slixa was built for!" Bulltwinkie! But I recognize their value as another marketing tool, and they seem to have some pretty decent programmers, at least, so I will ignore the blarney -- for now.

Pop-ups are, in my mind, not an effective advertising method because so many people do find them annoying. I may drop a note to Slixa mentioning that should I decide to stay with them beyond the trial period.

Dogs are a higher life form than humanity, definitely more tolerant, forgiving, and comforting. Btw, the Sweet Pea Memorial Pet Food Drive is closing in on 400 lbs for a grateful local shelter. Yea animal lovers of ECCIE!

Fancy.... I didn't get that form letter nor did anyone else I recommended Slixa to that I know of. But Maybe you should have a conversation with Lee Ann one of the owners because I think the sentiment is real. They are very appreciative of the founding ladies who joined.

But boy all it takes is for someone to be a puppy lover ( of which you know I am) and you are ready to through Slixa under the bus. lol...

As for pop up not being effective I venture to guess that even the negative view of them that Slixa is being blamed for has made people check Slixa out. All this chatter just makes them work even more. I am hearing everyday about my advertising clients hearing from hobbyist that found them on Slixa.
Lee Ann tells me that Texas is having some of the highest traffic and they attribute it to The quality ladies from Texas on the site and ECCIE, banner, pop ups and best of all threads in the forums

ALL and ALL punishing the girls who advertise on there for the choice ECCIE & Slixa make is just asinine. Plus I call it cutting off your nose to spite your face because he's the one missing out.
As I said Slixa can stop buying pop ups but someone else will come along and buy them and he'll still be fusing and quality ladies will still be advertising on Slixa...The world will keep turning POP up and all.

BTW North You ought be an advertising provider who spends upwards of $200 a month with EROS and before a potential client can even get to the ad you have spent so much on he has to get rid of two to three pop ups. THAT IS WHAT MAKES ME ANGRY...Slixa doen't have pop up...they have pledged not to in an effort to help providers not waste advertising dollars... You know the cost of business just trickles down....
There's only one lady on Slixa right now who is on my list so my opinion is irrelevant to the rest of the providers who are enabling and encouraging Slixa to inflict their scummy pop-up advertising on me. She can live without my business and I can live without her. I am the kind of guy who will burn the house down to get my way. I pick my fights very carefully. What I see on Slixa is similar to what I see on Eros -the minority of the ladies are reputable ladies who are on eccie and have positive reviews and are well known in the hobby. The rest are the same unknown ladies also seen on Eros - if they have any reputation at all, and most them don't, it is bad. So to me, Slixa is currently just a modern-format Eros. As for the shitbird pop-up-advertising-loving owner of Slixa, of course she's going to tell you all how great things are going, she is in the business of promoting her website. Why doesn't she nut up and come right in here and make her case for her irresponsible, odious behavior? I can't wait to hear her justification. Anyway, that's about all I have to say about it. No provider should take offense to my position; they should encourage the minimization of annoyances to the prospective client population, all in my mostly irrelevant opinion, of course.

Neither have I. And given their association with VP and VP's unwillingness to grant the wishes of providers wanting to retire and move on, now I am not so sure about them.

Well, I went back and reread the letter (which was from Lee Ann) and maybe it isn't as impersonal as I initially thought, as she mentioned that she had noticed some of my posts. (Didn't mention one specifically, however.) I may have prematurely leaped to an erroneous conclusion and assumed that it was a mass mailing lumping me in with the many gorgeous ladies like Allison and written by someone who hadn't actually looked at my profile. (I have a practical view of my allure.) Perhaps I have a hard time accepting lavish praise. Perhaps it's still a form letter with some personalization. My apologies, if applicable.

Their "marketing department"? You mean the three people who are ALL OVER THE PLACE talking up this site? I was having a conversation with someone earlier today and while we were on the phone he looked up some stats about slixa. Namely that they grossly inflate their traffic numbers.

It does not help your advertising when the shills sound fake and insincere.
