Question about Antiques shops, Flea Mkts, etc....

Thanks so much to everyone who responded here and via PM! I found some interesting things so far and I am still always looking around.

Anyone know of any places near New Orleans and also close by in Austin. I have yet to scour those areas and I will be travelling alot this summer so many places.

If your looking for something unique & one of a kind. Ask the locals to steer you toward some out of the way stores that don't have tourist trap written all over it. There's a lot of good shopping to be had in N.O.

Austin has some antique sales that I've been to with many vendors (under one roof). Some good stuff. I believe they do it monthly or bi monthly (don't quote me on it). I'm sure one of their local antique shops can give you some info on it.

San Antonio has some cool little antique shops. One on Broadway within 410. Another I -10 and Wurzbach vicinity.

Thanks for the info about N.O. I have always loved that place but I am never there it seems long enough to go hunting. LOL

I-10 & Whurzbach antique shop is on Whurzbach past HEB, in the shopping plaza across from Popeyes,

The one in the Broadway/410 area is gone. The building was razed several years back and now a hotel stands in its place.
