I'm running Chrome (which tried to stop me from coming to site) and Norton Antivirus (which blocked it) on Windows.

This is what I got

Danger: AVG Active Surf-Shield has detected active threats on this page and

has blocked access for your protection.

The page you are trying to access has been identified as a known exploit, phishing, or social engineering web site and therefore has been blocked for your safety. Without protection, such as that in the AVG Security Toolbar and AVG, your computer is at risk of being compromised, corrupted or having your identity stolen. Please follow one of the suggestions below to continue.
thanks for the help everyone. we are cleaning it all up now as we speak.

I've been getting it since last night, I think. At the latest this morning around 11am.

It was just panplan.org or something similar to that at first. This most recent time (when I literally clicked onto this thread 2 minutes ago, I had to authorize Chrome to let me view this site 3 times (I don't use any anti-virus software to my knowledge, which is probably retarded).

Is it safe to view any of these websites when this comes up? This is going to seriously affect my hobbying and porn-watching if it doesn't get fixed stat!!!

I started getting it this afternoon while using Google Chrome. It specifically listed bluebooze.ru as the issue. When I switched to Firefox it stopped. I am using Norton Internet Security.

...and I'm now the proud owner of AVG, which detected the same bluebooze thing that everyone else is reporting.

Hi,

Just FYI, this morning my AVG reported it....in file explorer.exe......and it is asking me to update my explorer 8 ...which I have done before.....I've ran malware bytes and Avg and it doesn't detect anything...???????

Sincerely,
Wet

Never click on any "virus" warnings or follow the links. A lot of the attack web sites will give you a phony virus warning. If something tells you to update Internet explorer or some other program you have installed, close your browser, then go directly to the legitimate vendor's web site and use their update process.

Firefox is now blocking eccie with a warning that it is a "reported attack site." At least some of the time.
