It's infected a lot of cities. Houston and Dallas are no better. I really miss the old days.

Some will point the finger at a few lightning rod ladies, but in my mind, it is the handful of men that react so venomously that are more to blame in my opinion. Same story in Dallas. Houston's been an extremely aggressive for a long time.

I feel for you ladies, being treated like a commodity instead of a person on the other end of that keyboard with feelings, and issues that got you into the biz in the first place.


Guys will talk shit, but why they do it in coed and not in our leaky assed private forum, I don't know. Then again, the threADs are tiresome and I wish we could do away with all sig lines.

I don't know, but I do know staff is definitely not asleep, however if this is the only thread you have read in co-ed today I can see where you might think so. The problem is, I told St. C when I took this job, that I would enforce the guidelines equally. That means the same for everyone, not worse for trolls or better for the people I actually respect, but equally.

You guys are lucky, you can use the ignore function, I can't,, talk about unfair... But that is what I suggest you do. If you find any members input unacceptable then by all mean put them on ignore, that is why we make the function available to you.

How to add people to your ignore list.

If everyone would just put them on IGNORE and stop responding, stop quoting, and just fucking IGNORE them, they won't bother you. If the mods won't do something, do it yourself.

This can be a good thing. Less time socializing on the board, leaves more time for making money, yielding more hobby funds to make more wonderful experiences possible. The threads can be fun, and it is nice to see a glimpse of one another's humor or insight, but it isn't fun and is a waste of time to engage trolls. These ladies put up wonderful showcases and take their time to respond via PM or their preferred form of communication. Reviews can go a long way toward determining the probability of mutual fun. If you are only after singular fun, or only in it for the money, viewing your partner as only a john or a hooker, then you are truly experiencing no more than half of the reward, whether that is monetary or sexual.

There also needs to be a reverse ignore feature where you can block them from seeing what you're saying. If everyone was able to do that, they would know we were laughing at them, but it would drive them crazy not knowing what was said. I doubt it's possible, but that would be very effective.

Ginger, thank you for posting this. I couldn't agree more. Many times I find myself wanting to respond to their venom but then I sigh and realize their not worth the effort or attention that they so obviously crave.

Defending oneself from constant personal attacks can be exhausting. Sarcastic, witty chiding cannot be compared with the mean spirited, unprovoked, hateful comments I've been reading lately.

I'm ashamed to admit that someone like Blad could have any impact on my daily life, but.. His attacks on my personal appearance have caused me to have an extreme case of BDD - Body Dismorphic Disorder. I can't work, I can't go out with friends, I can barely leave my apartment. I absolutely hate myself, and the way I look and everyday is completely horrible for me. His insults and horse face comments ring in my head every minute that I'm awake.

I'm not fishing for compliments and I definitely don't need any sympathy so please don't PM me with praises or appointment requests. Thank you for sharing it, as it couldn't have been easy to do. I think people need to realize the harm that can occur from attacks like have occurred here. This is why I don't like to post on here. It's like high school all over again on here. Somebody hides behind a screen and starts crap just to get off on it. Is life really that bad ? I think ecciebook is a better name for this site since it reminds me of Facebook. Sometimes in life just got to learn when not to respond to the ones that starts it because they know they done their job when you reply back. Who cares what someone thinks?
