Credit Cards and the Hobby

Cash cash or cash.

I am in the credit card transaction business. I would strongly suggest not taking credit cards. There are many reasons looking from both sides of transaction. Main reason for provider is charge backs, if you do be sure to get signature, make a copy of card on manual swipe and check card name with drivers license. This will maybe guarantee of no charge back. Another reason is there is an electronic proof he was at your place of business buying something.

From the hobbyist side everything listed above.

PM me if you have other questions.
My thought has always been... if you have to use a credit card to play.... you shouldn't be playing!

The ease of plastic is large...but...the risk of plastic is largER!

Couldnt see myself jumping off that potentially horrific cliff.
Good points have been made!!
i was a bit worried about a charge back happening.
I also didnt think of knowing their first/last names...
seems as if trust may need to be involved.

There definately were some good points being made that i havent even considered.
The majority seems to say "no credit cards", which i totally understand.
However, is there a way successfully accept credit cards?
Im thinking, theres got to be a way...but if not, oh well
What about if a guy just doesn't want a provider to know any of his real life info? Can this be avoided?

I think cash is best... Best for me, best for you... Just my opinion.

Get a safe deposit box maybe? Stash the cash somewhere perhaps? Hehehe Originally Posted by XOXO Karla

That's why it's deposited. We all do things different and for different reasons. Yes, I do pay taxes. Yes I do deposit most of my money. I have things I need to accomplish so......
Yes, I know Tracy... We all have our different ways of getting things done.

I think the credit card option is bad for us guys and bad for the girls as well. IF there was a LE issue, don't want to get involved in Credit Card transactions as well. That falls over into the Federal Realm, or definitely can. However if someone wants no papertrail, and not using cash, BITCOIN is the way to go.
