Use of photos/videos in reviews:good idea or bad idea?

I don't think it's a good idea. I don't believe Feds are going to raid a website and put people in jail for posting pictures of sex acts involving people over 18, Originally Posted by Alastair

Why do you think alot of guys now add in the sentence that " this is purely fantasy" when they write a review.
They are hoping that if they get busted, they have a way out by saying that they made the whole story up.
IMHO, I really enjoy the use of pics, taken by hobbyists, non-photo-shopped, in reviews. If the lady is scared of her picture in the review, just tell the client to keep it in ROS section. I have noticed that many ladies show their face in their showcase, AD's or in P411 AD's, (but because of threads like this that seem to pop up every so often to scare the providers or try to persuade them to not show their pics any more in reviews) they are glamour pics only. And some of those are not even close to what opens the door.

There are MANY reasons why a woman don't want to show her face and that's cool, I understand, what about the rest of her in the pic? This is the business that these ladies have chosen. The reviews will tell why certain body parts are not shown or covered, so why try to deceive or start off on the wrong foot with your rep.? As time goes by and your phone don't ring as much as you thought it should, I have noticed ladies starting to show their face more often and guess what happens, their phone starts ringing again. As my reviews indicate, if you don't allow pics in your reviews, chances are very slim that i will be choosing you in the very near future.

This is a BUYERS market, pics, the level of service, rates, and location helps us decide on WHO to spend our hard earned dollars on. Why would you want to eliminate or hide an important factor in this decision? With NO Man in the pictures with you, it proves nothing.

If ya'll are scared of LE, the internet still beats the hell out of walking. lol

Because Copier Guy, these women will, for the most part, someday move on in their lives. There is much for them to learn in the hobby:interpersonal skills, business acumen, communivation/marketing concepts. All to the good, but these skille sets are wasted if there is a record that can never be erased. By the way, I very much like your reviews and photos. I guess each provider needs to do her own risk/reward analysis, but she needs to fully understand both sides of the equation. Regards, Outoftheblue
Unless you posted video of yourself paying for sex or the lady taking money and explicitly saying it's for a sexual act(s), how would the Feds even make that stand up?

Sounds like a lot of "If" to me. I mean, I understand being careful, but some of this shit is over the fucking top. Do you really think it hurts a provider's business when I guy sees them with a dick in their mouth looking up at the camera?

Yea, that's why porn is SOOOOOO unpopular.

Out of the 2-3 guys who "claim" it's a turnoff, there are 50 who are scraping their Hobby Jar as we speak based on a compelling pic/video from a review.

Looking like "anti drama" sanctimony has bled over to pics and vids now.

As someone mentioned before, this is the girls' livelihood. If they are concerned about how this lifestyle will impact their future, perhaps they should get a 9-5 and make minimum wage like so many others. Though I have yet to provide them myself, I appreciate those that take the time to include pictures in their reviews. It adds a credible dimension to the narrative. As for videos; I can do without. There is enough porn online as it is.

I like seeing a chick who's not all "glammed" up. Plus you get some cred on the action. Originally Posted by str8.2.bbbj

I have had conversations about this with a few folks when we got together and when it came up in general conversations (not a common discussion) even with folks who do it.

My opinion a lady should not allow it. If something happens where she needs to go UTR, you can at least find her Ads and edit them along with her showcase if needed. Finding pics and videos of her in reviews is not so easy to do. It has been an issue with custody cases.

IF she allows it, then it is valuable info to have...but won't kill her business if not allowed.

back to the topic...bad idea, imo, for several reasons. but i won't tell people what to do. but from a personal standpoint...i have no desire to see them. does not turn me on as most of those posted in ROS are not very flattering. i rely on website/showcase pix combined with reviews.

It's become a contest. One that I like looking at.
I have one review that has pictures, covered and nude, posted on Eccie. There are many reasons why the reviewer and I decided to post it.

My Reasons:
1) I trust him. Not just a little bit. I trust him wholeheartedly. We have spent many hours, on the clock and off the clock, together talking about this, that and the other thing. He knows me. He knows the real me. (Not that JP is different than the real me. If you knew me outside of the hobby, you would know I'm the same person). I talk to him about my life. All of it.
2) I trusted him to host the pictures on a secure site.
3) We had the conversation, before and after they were posted, about what part of me I would like blurred, if any.
4) He has promised me, which I believe, that if at any time I would like my pictures removed, they will be.

Now, would I let just any hobbyist do what AT6Texan did? Not a chance in hell!!

But Jillian with the click of a mouse, those pictures belong to someone else to do what they will with them. Yours are tastefully done and you aren't in a questionable state of mind either. A lot of others aren't nearly as flattering and probably would would serve the provider better by leaving a bit of mystery to the imagination.

I think if the pictures show that she is in a great state of mind and is having fun in the session, I see nothing wrong with pictures in the ROS.

All of that being said, I do not have access to ROS and cannot see whatever distasteful pictures or pictures of providers under the influence that those with premium access are referencing.

Trust me on this: you don't want to see some of them. Then on the other hand, maybe you would as a lesson on when/where not to allow pics to be taken.
