For desert the wife and I usually hit Carol's or Pete's Polar Parlor in the Fairmount area (W Genesee st down by Target)
If you wanted to fill up there's two Chinese buffet's on Erie Blvd that aren't bad. My wife likes the New Fuji buffet of the two but the service is not as quick. Head up thompson to Erie, turn left and then a quick right at the first turn-around to the other side. Its right after Delmonico's. The other one is up the road past Thompson, turn left into the Paradise Plaza. The Burger place in there isn't bad either.

Need someone to show you around? I dont have to be to work till 3pm. LoL
