Not saying you do this but i think the NCNS thing happens to us more than it does to hobbyists.
And i agree just takes a second to let a person know hey i cant make it... Originally Posted by Ts AmberRose

Providers as in i am one too and it happens to US alot more matter of fact you hardly ever hear of a provider doing a NCNS.
Im sorry OP you hard to re arrange you schedule happens to US all the time and most guys dont have the respect to give US a heads up that you are not coming!!!!!!!
It actually happens A LOT with providers. Most of us just don't report it, but it's all over the Locker Room when it does happen.
It's no different than a business appointment, I would never just not show up for a business appointment unless there were some extreme reason.
Then i guess we can all agree a little respect goes a long way

No disrespect meant, to each his own. We can have a poll if you want to see how many on the board consider you an "us".

Now back on point...are you kidding me? You never hear of a girl NCNS?
Your difference of opinion meaning nothing to me and you are absolutely disrespectful by those comments.
And im already aware that someone like me is considered less than SW status on this wonderful board.
Maybe you should stay on TOPIC and quit attacking me for your latent homophobic tendencies.
But no matter im sure you will be getting your attaboys and high fives for bashing me so bash away.

To enlighten & educate myself, I attempted to read your reviews but alas...I found none...so my opinion, unfortunately, remains unchanged without other input.

Could other mongers who have sampled your wares chime in and tell me why I am in error as there are no posted reviews for me to gather an opposing view?

And I did ask you a question, which you heavy handedly sidestepped...would you care to address the issue at hand?

I took the use of "us" to mean "those of us who provide" rather than "us girls".

Obviously you would only book 1/3rd of the provider options but what has that got to do with anything?

Back on topic sorry you got NCNS OP but I am sure you will find a provider or two to fix that for ya

You know you get calls from guys on this board so take that for what it's worth. You are just as valuable.

Getting back to the topic I'm surprised we haven't heard from SimplyJoy by now.

I further asked any male monger that has rented him to counter my opinion with explaining to me why I am wrong.

From him I get "you are homophobic", which I'm really not.

I think I am being very open minded about it so far...and the only explanations I have gotten is "because he says so".

I'm really not trying to belabor the point & am just responding to your suggestions, basically I am just asking for data to assist with improving my knowledge. I don't think it will be forthcoming though, do you?

I'm gonna have to agree with Listener that there are three categories of providers (maybe four, assuming there are transmale providers as well). Since there aren't any widely accepted trans-specific pronouns in the English language, that leaves us with two sets of gender pronouns for four genders. I suppose one could split hairs about whether a transwoman is a he or a her, whether only post-op transwomen providers are her, whether fertility is the litmus test (in which case many cisgenered women would not be hers), or whether gender identity can be separated from genetic sex. And then there's intersex people who may or may not be transgender depending on the individual. But splitting those hairs seems sort of pointless and petty. Ts AmberRose may think of herself as a her. ToYz may think of him as a him. Others will have their own opinions. Far simpler, IMO, to just leave it up to the individuals themselves. So if Ts AmberRose wants to be referred to as her, it's no skin off my straight cisgendered male nose. Live and let live is my advice.

Just my two cents.

Incidentally, in this context, I too took the use of us to mean providers, regardless of gender.

Also, the whole Me vs the Board thing is as uncool when you do it as when Jazmine Monae did it. Telling off the whole community because you have issues with specific members isn't exactly the moral high road, IMHO.

Back on topic, please.

If you want to discuss the nature of providers, start your own thread. And a reminder that unprovoked rudeness has no place here.
