For myself....I was not raised to tear down or disrespect a person in such a manner... even with my wife when we've had our trials over the past 20+ yrs I've never used a derogatory term...of course I am aware that when people take money for services they are prostituting themselves....at times I think we all prostitute ourselves in some way form or fashion during our lifetimes....I don't say much but on occasions I do when I feel moved to share my thoughts.... Go Spurs ! Safe Travels and hobbying....

Like the man said, I don't like using derogatory terms per se.
Just think it has a negative connotation in civil society. Now if a
lady can use it and laugh at herself, then good for her.

This reminds me of that part in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts gets all bent out of shape and Richard Gere says, "I never treated you like a prostitute." Julia Roberts, in her most offended voice says, "You just did." and walks away hurt. I always thought, "Ummm...but you ARE a prostitute! I don't care how anyone describes my "extra-curricular" fun. Whore, hooker, prostitute, doesn't matter to me. I don't think any of us ladies are confused as to what we do, so if we're honest with ourselves these words shouldn't hurt. Anyone who is offended when someone calls them a whore should stop engaging in sexual activity in exchange for money.

Thank you girls. If you are not being a total slut and if I'm not screaming what a nasty whore you are, well, then we are just not doing it right.

OK guys, looking at some of our postings lately, too many of us "hobbyists" keep referring to our lovely ladies as hookers, whores and prostitutes. Not only are these terms somewhat inappropriate, but our "providers" deserve a little more respect as they do provide us with some of lifes little pleasure. These terms seem to be more appropriate for street walkers, women that give it away, etc. Ladys, am I wrong? Or, would you prefer to be referred to by different terminology?
