Short Notice Availability?

I like the idea. Most of my appointments are made on short notice so it would be nice to know who is available at the time.

It probably wouldn't hurt to try.

One detail to iron out is location. Texas South is a big area, so knowing the provider's location is critical. Yes, this is just below the avatar, but it's not always accurate.

There seems to be sufficient interest...I think mods should sticky a Short Notice Availability thread in ISO.

Well, nine mongers, 2 ladies so far seem to be interested. While I can see the benefit of such a thread, the ladies, who would be the most to benefit from one, seem to be lacking an interest at this time.

At this time, no short notice thread will be set up. If others wish to express their interest in participating in a short notice thread, we will be more than happy to revisit this in the future.

There are times that I'm ready on short notice. I'm sure there are other ladies who are too at times. This is a great idea! Lets do it!

I think it would be a great idea. There have been several times when an appointment is made and for one reason or another, the appointment can't be kept. There have been several times that I've had to scramble to find another provider when one cancelled and theere have been numerous occasions when I would have an appointment, and then an emergency would arrise at the plant and I would get called in. Then the provider is left hanging. A Short Notice Availability would be a great way to kelp both hobbiest and provider alike.

And once again, the lack of response from the 54 registered Verified Providers we have in South Texas really renders this a moot point of discussion.

If we could get even a 10% agreement on this, it might be worthwhile. Since it is not, this subject is closed again.

If any of you ladies think this may be a useful tool for you to use, I am open Pms on the matter.

If I remember correctly, some providers put South, but they are located in SA or Houston. I think the rationale is that they visit our area. Some are just geographically impaired. Maybe someone can take a closer look and bring that 54 number down?

There's no way there's 54 providers here. Impossible! Plus I did notice that some are based out of Houston, San Antonio, and other places. Could it be fixed?

I have been reading this thread with interest. I went back to January 2014 and we have had between 20 and 25 local providers post in the Corpus Christi Provider Ads thread. But only approximately less than 10 post consistently. When I meet a new provider I tell them to use this site to the fullest as their marketing tool. Unfortunately, most of our local providers will barely post ads much less contribute to the other threads such as Coed as evident within this thread. So far there has been two of you from Corpus and one from the Valley. Three girls out of almost 25 that have posted ads the first five months of this 2014. Thats an average of 5 providers per month or about one per week. I wish our local providers would get more involved on the board but they don't. Should we have a short notice availability........I think I would have to see more local girls get active on the board before that happens. Just my one centavo contribution.

I gotta say while it sounds like a good idea, there is not enough critical mass to pull this off in corpitos.I do believe it would be better for the ladies to contact us via other methods and accomplish the same thing. For instance, the girls with whom I have shared my hobby # could always text me an update.

Just let Majesty and Gwen post on this thread. I'm all for anything that gets a little more activity going on here.

As much as I would like to see this happen I agree that it must be pushed from the ladies. So ladies contact your friends and get them to get involved.

I would hate to see Gwen and Majesty get worn out being the only ones taking care of all the guys.
