Best thai food?

Thanks for all the recommendations. I'll likely just try them all.
Vieng Thai - try their Pad Sar-Tor which is shrimp and pork sauteed in chili paste with Thai herb and Thai bean (it looks like a giant kidney bean). For something really spicy try Tiger Cry which is grilled steak with spicy dipping Thai sauce.

Thai Gourmet - crab fried rice is out of this world good. All my Viet friends love it. Fisherman's soup is great also.

Both are very good restaurants
Yes! I love that Pad Sar-Tor.

I took two friends here the other night. Picked up some a couple bottles of wine before. Ordered way too much food. All excellent! Total bill at the restaurant was less than $55.

Vieng Thai in Spring Branch is my favorite Thai joint. Originally Posted by Don T. Lukbak

I think a man. Always hits on me. Oh. Hummmm. I guess that's not definitive.

I have to add Morningside Thai. New location over on lower Kirby-Excellent
Kanumwon at telephone and lockwood has always been solid. The old man passed away a couple years ago, but the quality doesn't seem to have fallen off at all. It's BYOB too.

Gonna have to try this Vieng Thai place. I love it all, and the hotter the better.

Been going to this place since the early 90's. I don't know that it's the best but it's very good. Now that I'm thinking about it I crave it and must go!
