To the guy that walked up to me in the grocery today....

He may have just been stunned by her beauty and had to react. I can see that too. Hey at least you didn't get an air dance at the same time. Give the guy some slack. It sounds like he needs it.

Sans the "nobody cares" part of the bit.
Hmmmm...that sounds like the guy that got caught in a grocery store with a hand down his pants scratching his ass in the Produce Dept.

He should have just started tickling her taint which shows much more discretion on his part.

If I spotted you in a public place I'd probably get arrested for public TF'ing....

Seriously - this ass-hat's action was irresponsible at best, if not criminally stupid. Sorry it happened to you.

How would any hobbyist like it if some hooktard you'd seen or met at a social came on to you in public??? Even a simple "hi" can be damning -- "where do you know her from?" is the first question usually asked by an SO - even if they're plain jane girl-next-door types.

Acknowledging some one in public is #2 on the list of hobby fuck up, right behind #1, don't out someone. And the reason it's #2 with a bullet is because it may very well out some one. I know you know this, Rambo. But Christ, anybody too fucking dumb to figure out rules 1 and 2 is too stupid to be a customer.

Ze, I can not attest to your beauty as I have no idea what you look like, but I can attest to the stupidity of the moron that did this.
That is eccie-mart behavior. smh.

Really, the first 5 rules of the hobby are the same as the first two rules of fight club.

"You do not talk about the hobby."

Some people need to get some class. Nobody wants a cop hear that, especially in a grocery store.

Really, what could a cop do? Nothing

Its about civilians hearing and looking.
Incredibly, this sort of thing happens time and again in the P4P world.

Back in the ASPD days, one provider related that while she was out one evening having drinks and dinner with a couple of friends, a recent client walked right up to her, put out his arms to give her a hug, and addressed her by her "provider name!" Yes, seriously. All she could do was shake her head and look at her friends with an expression that said, "What the fuck is up with this drunk idiot? I have no idea who this is!"

From time to time, someone will start a thread to ask about the appropriate protocol when bumping into someone you've met in the hobby.

I assume the first thought that pops into most people's minds is something like:

"Seriously? You really have to ask?"

I've had someone show up at my incall unannounced the biggest mind fuck I've had in this hobby. I wish I was a quick thinker so I could have mased his ass lol

I had a guy email me about a month ago that he saw me at the dog park and had always wanted to make an appt with me, but just never had. He also said that he would have came up to me and said hi (which would have freaked me the fuck out)but since I was on the phone he didn't wanna bother me...so if I hadn't been on the phone he would have crossed major lines which still freaked me the fuck out. Haven't been back to the dog park since. Stranger danger.
Now my dog has to pay the consequences! No bueno.

I was having lunch with my boss one day and the waitress was a provider I had seen just a few days before! I swear I almost shit myself right there when our eyes met. But I have to say she was very cool and did a great job pretending not to know me, like most ladies do naturally.
Save it for the AHN awards (Adult Hobby News). All your fave providers there to sign autographs and pose for pics.
