Bulgogi!

Surprisingly, the best Bulgogi I found in town so far for the value has been at the eatery (?) inside Seoul Oriental Food Market. Which happens to be an Asian grocery store. Prepared to be shocked if you haven't been there. Originally Posted by blasphemouse
You are correct for the value factor that you receive it is on the mark...For those of you that have not eaten there it is the Korean grocery store in the same shopping strip as Taco kitchen and Lenny's sub shop. When you go into the grocery store you must pay at the cashier for the meal first then take the receipt to the restaurant counter and give it to one of the ladies and have a seat. Those of you that are unfamiliar with Korean food can look on the restaurant area walls where they have pictures of the different dishes that you can order.

I do like KIKU garden on Goldfield by IH35 but since the previous owners were robbed,the son of the owner shot and killed and his young bride abducted and raped -all in broad daylight- I tend to not go there...just FYI

Tiger Pop at 1604 and Bulverde is excellent. They do "Korean Fusion" dishes - incorporating bulgogi into sandwiches and tacos. Trader Joes has a prepackaged version that you can grill at home. It's great.
