Yes, I dread a "pavement interface" for my Treo, but when it does or if the iPhone beds with Verizon I may have to drink the "Jobs Kool-aid" instead of the "Palm Kool-aid." I aleady hoover the "Bill Gates Kool-aid."

Well, pony up to the Steve 'Jones' Jobs bar. Personally, I would resist the temptation to go the Android route. Think Palm early days when nothing just 'fit'. Maybe a few years they'll get it, but I like Apple's polish. I liken it to good German cars when you realize you can still roll down you windows when the powers dead because they thought things out. Right now Android is like the Kia. IMHO.

ClairJordan, I agree with the above, more memory, but in reality unless your downloading tons of music or videos, 16 is more than enough for most users. Plus Cloud services are starting to make storage easier.

For CJ: For memory: a man is NEVER too rich and you can NEVER have enough memory. Get out the wheel borrow and load up with memory chipsets. It'll be about the same price as a nice pair of Pliners. And worth it as the iPad ages.

Sorry, didn't see your post. Yes, Logmein Ignition and the Desktop version allow me to check up on every computer at work. It works pretty flawlessly. If you travel like I do, they're a godsend. VNC is not bad, but not as polished and I don't have experience with Crazyremote.
