They think "Hey I get to have sex & make lots of money" they don't take into account the physical and mainly IMO the emotional aspects of the hobby and can't handle it, or just decide it is not for them.

Along with that, I would also consider two things.
One is that they go in with all sorts of expectations of making big bucks ($250-300 an hour) and they don't think the whole thing through. The being of some sort of superstar that gets all sorts of male attention is also in the equation.
The other is the safety aspect, including health and physical safety. It can't be easy for some girl (18-23) to just meet some guy at Mr. Patels who she's never even seen before, yet her job dictates that she has to be immediately intimate in a sexual manner with him. It also can't be easy that almost any guy she meets could turn on her, rape her or worse, and he overwhelms her with his size/strength.
