It sucks when it happens. It happened to me once. I made an appointment with someone else as a plan b and then I got a text from the one that no showed and she was complaining that I saw another girl and how her and that girl had problems with each other and I shouldn't see her again and ect. ect. I was surprised that I was getting scolded. I was just surprised by the whole situation. I just shook my head and laughed, like "Huh?" Just a protocol of the industry and the paradigm isn't going to change. Words from our current President. If a provider asks me to play, and I said yes, we communicated well all the way up to an hour before session time, and then I ceased communications for whatever reason, she has all the right in the world to be perturbed and want an explanation.
Look at it this way. If a Provider asked you to play and you didn't.
Would you reply? You would? Then we are brothers.
My experience: Sisters are rarely capable of playing straight with brothers. Originally Posted by doug_dfw

I was following the spirit of the OP. Don't think he is one either. Or the Provider. But as you set it out, I do agree. WTF!!!
If a provider asks me to play and I did not respond at all to her initial request, the ONLY thing she can say guess not, meaning, even though no response was given, I did not waste her time.

Damn if you do and damn if you don't so I stop caring. Originally Posted by KayleehotchickYou stopped caring if your client feels like he got totally screwed over? Thanks for the heads up.
Because I was stuck in a middle of a busy hwy with cars wizzing by me...that is why. I contacted him about AS soon as I could.
I CARED enough to contact him to tell him what happened and say sorry and I respected his time but I stopped caring when he accused me of being a liar (which I WASN'T) right out of the gate. Also the fact that there will ALWAYS so guy who nit picky and or jaded that there is NO WAY I can please or I would make myself crazy. I save that caring for the guys who know that sometimes things happen that are out of our control and doesn't accuse me of lying.
But hey, you're welcome. :-) Originally Posted by Kayleehotchick
