Flight probably has a connection through Dallas. Do they have a direct from midland to El Paso? Originally Posted by poonhound21highly doubtful. Either dallas or Austin connection.
Fly from midland to Lubbock or Amarillo, you go to dallas
so I should fly from Elp to Midland or Odessa id it's a 5hr drive .. by plane says 3hrs? Hope that helps!
why is TX so BIG lol im trying to get there by air and do 2 citys but dang it's so bigThere's not much to see in between El Paso and Midland. It's not the worst drive but it gets really flat, dry and, boring really fast, so if it were me I'd fly. You can drink, relax, have a meal while you wait in Dallas for your layover, but I've seen the road in between many times, so it may be worth checking out one time. Guess it all depends on weather or not you enjoy driving. It's also worth mentioning that when you start to get close probably an hour and a half away around Pecos your going to be driving in a lot of industrial traffic. There's lots of hauling going on around here, so if you don't like driving around a bunch of 18 wheelers doing 80 you might not like it. So for me its a decision between lounging around in airports semi drunk with a belly full of yummy food or driving down a long dry wide open space.
fly from ELP to Midland takes all day looks like same as driving .. YES / NO ?? Originally Posted by LustyBustyGina38FF
