It seems you aren't getting the feedback that you were looking for because you want to be RIGHT. So you visited with and asked your ATF (Likely one of the other providers you were contacting about schedule and specials). She validated you.

I understand why gents put out feelers to multiple providers. The problem is when more than one respond with a yes. Then you have to dig yourself out of the hole you started digging. Try, "Hey toots, I may have some time to see you today. Are you still running your special? If so, I can be over there at (fill in the time). If not, see ya next time". Then contact 'sassy pants' if 'toots' doesn't respond.

A couple days ago I decided I needed some attention. I have a couple of providers I see. Never knowing who is tied up, I texted a couple of them and asked availability and are any specials on the board. One texted back a 1/2 hour and hour special rate. I texted back that I would get back with her when I knew my schedule. She texted back that that is not how specials work and never to contact her again.
